Why did he bring his father?

After he got his posting near his village he was living in some other place and he did not want to come back even after his chacha requested him. He only came back to his haveli and did all the fighting just because he wanted to hide Paro there. If he was planing to execute his plan of her letting go and then catch the culprits then why he needs to all that for one night? Why he needs to bring his Dad to Haveli and told him to safeguard Paro if he does not plan to hide Paro there anymore and let her go same night? He can not even think of bringing her back because once he catch the culprits he is going done with her, so no need to bring her back. So is there any continuity issue as Swathi mentioned?
