Folks! I beg to completely differ on this.

RR has simply no similarity to Othello.
Othello signifies love and deceit apparently from the female lead but the antagonist was the real culprit. Othello and Desdemona were head-over-heels in love with each other which got ruined later ultimately leading to their ill-fate.
RR is a total reverse case. Love is still a far cry and I don't know how are people here analyzing Rudra's reactions as insecurities or possessiveness for Paro.
I find it plain irritation and anger, combined with some sort of physical attraction and confusion about his own hatred for her due to Paro's innocence apparent to him.
And this should later get modified into understanding and then love.
Rudra's reactions are a result of his awful past which is not Othello's case.
Hence I feel the flavor of RR is totally different an should not be compared, atleast not to Othello.

Agree. I have been wondering ever since it was announced that the show is based on Othello as to waht the relevance is to RR! I can't see how they are similar!😕
