Episode 259

Vani pierces the soolayudham into Rajesh' stomach. Rajesh bleeds, falls down and becomes motionless. A shocked Shenvi faints. Rajesh wakes up and throws off the red paint soaked cotton rolls and the metal plate tied to his stomach.

At the park, Surya buys kuchi ice for Devi. Both chit-chat. They see a guy proposing and the girl refusing and walking off. Surya is upset that the girl did not value that guy's 3 years of love and declares that the girl didn't have any sympathy. Devi says Please don't blame the girl. Love cannot be born out of sympathy. Surya wonders why the girl refused when the guy is good looking. Devi questions is good looking enough for a girl? What if he was a makku, ammanji. She has to slog all her life. Surya says too much. Why conclude wrongly about that guy. Looks like girls have kick in letting the guys hanging around and begging them. Pasanga pavamga. Devi says Wrong Logic. Guys has to achieve in life so much that the girl he likes must gape at his achievements. Devi quotes examples of young achievers like Bharathiyar and Gandhiji. Devi says Love is costly. One needs to gear up, achieve and make the girl long for him. No girl will like a guy eating from his father's earnings and roaming streets aimlessly. Had the guy who left now achieved something, he need not run behind the girl. The girl would have been begging him to accept her. Surya accepts. Devi smirks.

Bhoomi tells Vani you forgot to remind. Vani smilingly asks what. (Ada pavigala.. Shenviya anga vituudtu inga enna panreenga.) Bhoomi says Vani Rani on saturday. Back at the hospital, Shenvi sleeping. Rani nervous that Selvi isn't back from shock treatment. Shenvi opens her eyes, Dr calls her Shenbagam. Shenvi gets up and I am Selvi. Why am I here? (hayya Pei chapter kku THE END 👏) Where is Rajesh? Dr probes about Shenba. Selvi says my husband's murai ponnu who killed herself coz she could not unite with my husband. Dr asks aren't you angry on her. Selvi says Not angry but I empathize. She asks for Rajesh. Dr walks out and updates Rajesh that your wife is completely cured. A happy Rajesh thanks the Dr. Dr says first inform Vani who took a bold decision and solved this case. Dr calls up Vani and says Madam she is completely normal now. Vani heaves sigh of relief and thanks the Dr for the co-operation. Dr says I feared that you took a big risk. But your vision came true. Dr hands over the phone to Rajesh. Both share the happiness of getting Selvi back. Vani tells Rajesh not to tell Swami about the method used to solve Selvi. Rajesh nods and thanks Vani. Vani says why thank me she is my daughter first and then your wife. Be happy and take care. They hang up.

Bhoomi summons Gautam and Surya and asks if they know. Gautam says Vani Rani to be telecasted every Saturday at 9:30. Surya says super da. The trio point to the screen and say marakama parunga.. 😳

Dr summons Swami & Co. Rani hugs Selvi. Selvi questions what happened. Rani confirms with Dr that Selvi is fine. Selvi screams what happened and calls Dei Rajesh. Sura is very happy. Dei Rajesh aah my DIL is cured. 😆Swami says small injury and you fainted. Rani interrupts and says lets not hide anything. 👏 Rani tells Selvi it is better we update each other what we feel and not keep it within ourselves which leads into problems like this. ⭐️An angry Selvi asks Rajesh what happened. Solli tholai. Rajesh says you gave 2^nd life for the dead Shenba and jolted all of us. Flashback shots of Selvi turning onto Shenvi are shown. Selvi wonders if she behaved like this. Swami says you should have shared with your amma and we as parents would have sorted it out. (Kizhichirippey.. 😡) Selvi says I never considered Shenba as a problem for me. In fact, her activities were like a comic act for me.😉 Moreover, I was confident on Rajesh's love for me. I was pretty sure that no one could separate us. Rajesh says you proved that your sympathies are more than love. 😆 I died every time you tortured me as Shenba and called me mama'. Selvi pleads to tell how she called him. Sura jumps in and says don't talk about that. Rani imitates 'Rajesh mama' . 😊 All of them have a hearty laugh. Selvi says No mama.. you are always my va da poda friend. 😳 Rani says I will kick you for not respecting your hubby. Selvi says you have taken my share too in respecting your hubby. Rani and Swami thank the Dr for the shock treatment he gave and cured Selvi. Dr says bye Shenbaga. 😲 Slevi asks ennadhu. Dr says Just for fun bye Slevi. (ss habba.. Dr yen Sir ippadi beethiya kilaparel.. ) Rani and Selvi hug.

Megala and her hubby reach Mano's home. Megala hesitates to walk in fearing Jo's wrath. Hubby says anything for our son. They get in. Angu gives them a hearty welcome. Mano and Jo too welcome them in all smiles. Megala is shaken to see a happy Jo welcoming them. Jo apologizes for her rude behaviour. Angu says why talk about the bitter past experiences where both sides spit anger on each other. Mr.Megala says mama has changed completely. Infact, he is the one who has sent us here. Jo is pleasantly surprised.🤢 Megala says Guess you guys are aware that my son Karthi love Poo. Angu says whole world knows it. 😡 Mano feels uneasy. 😉Megala says Appa who was against Karthik-Poo marriage now feels it is better we get them married. 😡 Jo and Angu in all smiles. 😡🤢

Vani Rani Episode 261, Thursday 30/01/14

MOM is so happy at Karthi's words. (Changing from extreme to extreme so suddenly - I thought age brings experience which brings stability but inga ellame ultavu irukku) Megala is still doubtful on Karthi who claims that this marriage will definitely happen. (Why is he like this?)

Devi comes to Bhoomi's office and wonders around dancing to her theme beat. Sundari and Selvi burn all of Shenba's attires. Shenvi marks her entrance again and says that she will never die. (Hahahaha I knew that wasn't the end of her) Selvi laughs and says that she is only joking. (I'm relieved, enjoyed her little prank and technically I was still right, now I have a feeling that this was the last of her or is it?) Rajesh comes with good news that Selvi has passed her exam. Someone phones and asks for Kali but says no more.

Rani, Saravannan and Swami come and view a restaurant. Rani says that her husband is skilled at everything at whatever he starts which is why he never starts anything (super Ranimaa, missed your little one-liners so much). They view the kitchen where Rani teaches the cook to circle the Dosa the other way for less pressure so a softer Dosa (I hope we can get more cooking tips from you, not necessarily useful for me as of now but adds some sort of liveliness to the serial). The current owner is very satisfied with Rani and Swami and agrees to continue with the deal. Swami leaves the two because he has some work to do. While travelling, Rani tells Sara to phone Jyothi as she wants to let her know this happy news. Meanwhile Poongodi pleads to her dad to talk with MOM and to stop this marriage. Rani phones, Poongodi picks up and Rani tells her to come to the temple tomorrow. Mano comes to MOM's house (ippa enna bookambam vedikka podhu?)

Bhoomi receives a call from his manager that all his stocks worth 3 crorers have gone into pieces. The security has informed that he is innocent and is not aware of things going on. An upset Bhoomi goes to the stockyard to check what has happened.

Rani comes to the temple, where Mom, Megala and family is carrying out Annadhanam (Suttam..vera koyilae ulagathula illaya). Rani happens to see Mom and fears as what will happen..and tries to escape out of the place. But Mom notices her and calls Rani. Rani in all fear. Mom silently questions her well being and where abouts of her family. Rani in cloud nine. Mom feels happy to see her, she in turn replies that She is very happy to see him turned upside down. Mom continues, all along I have been mad, but now I am alright and goes to perform annadhanam. Karthik calls her chithi..Rani is very happy and wonders the reason for Mom's changed attitude. Megala and Balu says its because of Karthik, and Mom has accepted Mano also. They also share the proposal of Karthik and Poo and Mom being happy on that occasion, even after having a attack of 3 times(Kadavule..now Rani will sacrifice for her father)..Poo arrives then, and shocked to see Rani and Megala together. Rani samaluchifies saying that she asked Poo to come for annadhanam only and leaves. Poo stands crying.

Selvi comes and says her MIL that she has got a job. MIL is happy, but says that Rajesh is earning and why does she wants to go to a job. Selvi replies, Rajesh stopped his education just for her sake and she wants to give that back to him. Hence as he made her study, she will make him study and shine well(I have never seen any youngster in the VR family going to college..till the end other than Surya nobody has planned to complete their education)..MIL is very happy to hear this. Again she receives a prank call asking for Kali..Sundari stands thinking as who gives such prank calls.
