I started this show cause I love Jenny! And I'm usually not good at following shows but I did this show cause I was really impressed by the character of kumud. We have this stereotype in indian TV that modern woman characters should be bubbly,loud & always right but kumud was modern but different- she was egoistic,strong, independent, taking responsibility of her decisions & very protective of her family >> which Is very realistic cause we girls are like that :P and that was enough to keep me hooked on to the show.
Anyways but they butchered her character after her marriage to pramad making her the abla naari :| and then I lost all interest!
But then it seems like now they are back on track- the best part I loved about SC was when after breaking off her marriage she didn't become the typical Indian TV heroine sitting in a corner thinking how a divorcee doesn't deserve happiness & all that crap but she wanted to experience happiness and get married to Saras.
Well the one point did come when she thought that she didn't deserve her but I don't blame her cause kusum broke her down emotionally so bad that any woman in her place would start feeling low of herself.But did anyone notice how after some tries of Saras making her understand she DID understand.
That's basically Saras Kumud for you- kumud does dumb mistakes and Saras is the one who knocks sense into her head LOL I saw many people complaining of how she didn't express her love in words for Saras but I think her actions spoke more than loud enough for her love for Saras. The way she trusted enough to go ahead with the plan of putting sense into kusum's head.She didnt pity herself more after saras made her understand after Kusum-Danny's marriage that how he loves her and NOT kusum. Before she taunted him so much because the trust still hasn't grown back but now she doesn't, she trusts him fully therefore there is no place for doubt In their relationship- she didn't doubt him once when he didnt reach for the engagement and that basically sums up for what she feels for him. The way se danced around on how she is going to be happy from now on and nothing will go wrong and how excitedly she expressed her happiness to kusum was one of the most beautiful moments for me :)
And that is the nayi soch for me cause now she wants to think of her happiness without thinking of the society.
PS- Jenny is looking really gorgeous these days and all these excited kumud scenes are coming out so beautiful!
PS- I'll be honest I didn't like Gautam much when the show started but now he has grown on to me- presently I think he's doing an amazing job especially with those cute expressions :) and yeah he's really hot I just realized after the towel scene ☺️
