We can't generalise this one .....it will depend from case to case........the couple will have to analyse why the parents are against their marriage because now a days parents are also becoming very open about this and there is not so much resistance to the love marriages now....

If the parents are opposing the marriage because..of cast..dowry..etc then in my opinion the couple should go ahead and get married........but many a times there are reasons that the young boy and girl are not able to see.......but the parents because of their experience are able to foresee.....in such cases they should heed to the advise of the parents.......the point is that no generalisations can be made here....

hey guys i read the topic sentence and its intresting to view everyones point of view on it, so therofre i decided to share my opinion as well...

In my opinion having a love marriage is not a bad thing as some may think. before getting married its important for a girl and a boy to know each other well and decide if they want to spend tehir life together. I think every person in this world has the right to choose their own life partner to some extent. If u wish to get married to someone fo ur choice, you should first find alot of detail about them for example where they are from what they do and their dislikes and likes. after if u think dat u wanna spend the life with them then u should tell ur parents and ask for their choice as well..i think that u should have the right who to marry in ur life but also have ur parents aprovel as well cause atleast ur not rushing into things..like when i get married i want to find someoone of my choice but i will also ask my mom as well..u may think dat i'm a pure old minded person but u guys i may be born in canada and raised here all my life but i'm still an human being and an indian and i respect my moms decision cause after all u shouldnt forget that ur parents have gone through alot to raise u so parents have a right to make choices in ur life as well...thats all i gotta say sorry i might not make sense and sorry for a long gay lecture
