I agree with u😃 Ram is partly responsible for the spoiled brat that Pihu is😭 It is not bad to give children luxuries, but Ram should've done it ina different way... he can give her whatever she wants, but not as soon as she calls for it.. My dad would tell me I have to do something to get a gift I want😆 Even then when I complete my task-he keeps making excuses😆 That is his way of telling me not to be a spoiled brat and demand thing😳 Ram is afraid of shouting or talking harsh at Pihu. Maybe if he pulls her up - like yesterday when she screamed at her mom He could have warned her. I really want to see Ram handling Pihu. 😃

Very nice post and some great comments.
It doesn't matter who spoiled the child, parents always have to work as a team especially in crisis. Just walking out like what Priya is doing is not the solution. Pihu is like Ram and thus very stubborn. I totally agree with Priya that the marriage is not right. But knowing how your daughter is, you need to come up with other ways to make things better. Just leaving her alone because she asked her dad to chose between her mom and her is not the right thing. Parents aren't supposed to leave their kids in tough situations, in fact they are expected to stay put. Who said raising kids is easy? There is no manual to do that and every parent learns it and finds what works for their kid. As a mom, Priya very well knows how her daughter is and thus needs to work out a plan accordingly.

I totally oppose her walking out in this situation since it's not Ram this time but Pihu who has caused the trouble!

I completely agree! I haven't watched the show in a while, and mostly only watched it when my mom did before. But by reading everything, and recently catching episodes here and there, I can pretty much figure out what's going on..and I'm so appalled by the kind of person Pihu has grown up to be. First she falsely accuses a guy who ends up committing suicide, and it doesn't seem like she felt remorseful or even learnt anything from that mistake. Another thing that bothered me was her attitude towards Priya's state in the coma, and how she was insisting Ram marry Juhi since her mom is basically "dead" to her? I just think that was such an immature and strange thing. Maybe that's just me..but anyways, now, her selfishness, entitled and obsessive attitude has ruined her character. Is there even a hint of kindness or genuine love in her? Ahhh, she seems to have gone so far down the wrong path that I'm not sure if she can return!

By the way, I completely agree that Ram and Juhi combined totally spoiled her, and now definitely have to deal with the consequences. But, having said that..I don't think they can be totally blamed. I know a parents' upbringing has a lot to do with a child's thoughts, beliefs and specially attitude towards them but it's definitely unfair to take away most of the blame from Pihu herself. She is a "grown up" now and I dunno, I guess maybe I just didn't like the "Deal with it" thing. :P Because I feel that at least for Priya, it's so unfair to her. That poor woman did try to do the right thing the first time around and ended up in a coma, and now also is failing at making the situation right. I guess it does go back to Ram who-for some insane reason-insists on siding with Pihu, whether she is right or wrong. As you can tell, I'm confused myself about putting a lot of blame on Ram or not! But anyways, I do agree with everything you said and sorry for writing such a long post, haven't written in a while and Pihu just really p*sses me of!

P.S. I get the show is trying to show the turmoils and harships of parenting, etc. and I understand parents have to deal with how their decisions effect their children, and how kids can sometimes cause problems for parents...but to THIS extent? Geez, they really gotta take everything to another level don't they?

I hope k Ram realise that Pihu doesn't really care or love him but is selfish and stubborn. After today's party incident he felt bad but hope he be stubborn like her as of now ;)

Its not juhi or rams to be blames for pihu today..pihu was like before priya went into coma..

I agree parents shouldnt submit to every demand of their child...but its important to build a relation with the child to make sure they are comfortable tellng you everything that goes in their life. .pihu somehow lacked that comfort with priya and hence she started lying to her fearing consequences from priya's side during varun's case.
