Hi All!
In all honesty, never EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER have I met (figuratively speaking) A Lead Character's child that I absolutely DESPISE. Not just dislike. But DESPISE. I mean Ekta has done the stereotypical "bad boy" son who falls in love and turns good eventually (Gautum KSBKBT; Prem KZK) But THIS: Vindictive, Spolied, Selfish, Stupd B****. Is a FIRST. Maybe, just MAYBE if Pihu showed some semblence of EMPATHY, HEART, or even .0001% of the CHARACTER her fictional mother Priya has, I wouldn't despise her as much. Alas, for the first time ever I think Ekta has created a villainous offspring from a protagonist š.

Here's my 2 cents, maybe it's just the way I was raised- If I was giving the attitude that Pihu is: "Give me what I want or I'll kill myself" (Please note HOW stupid that sounds, how SELFISH that sounds; How PETTY that sounds etc) My dad would say, "Sure, let me drive you to the nearest bridge. No? OK, well that's fine, sit your butt down and shut your mouth now".
SERIOUSLY. ANYONE Who is as petty and vindictive as Pihu would not off themself because you know what they thrive on? ATTENTION. She is not depressed, or going through a serious trial, she is simply being STUBBORN. It's a tell of a spoiled brat.

I'm glad RaYa are taking a break, Why? Because RAM has "raised" Pihu, and he SHOULD Damn well deal with his bratty kid- note I say kid, because her maturity level can't be considered an "adult".
Being a parent is not giving into your child's ever desire. I'm not a parent by any means but I can tell you that it's parental suicide if that's what you do. Whether you have the means or not, if you're just going to catch them every time they fall, and give them whatever they want at first glance: WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING THEM? What life skills are you giving them? What have they learned? What have they earned? I'm not going to stereotype and say it's a rich kid thing and it's a given, but realistically if PRIYA had raised her daughter, there WOULD have been consequences, starting off with Pihu being involved in that innocent boy's suicide. Further more, I find it disturbing that post that incident, Pihu didn't even become a good/decent character from the guilt of her actions- it was more like, "Oh, well mom's practically dead, so no one's going to find out: Great, my butt is safe".

Ram as a father, individual and human being is absoltuely incorrect with his unfathamable stance of "I'm standing by my daughter". Being a parent is about GUIDING your kids to the right path, NOT letting them drag you blindly down their own sinister one. It's not easy and I Personally think Ram took the "easy" way out by siding with his spoiled "rockstar". Not surprising, since he create the beast that his Pihu-Bratty-Selfish- Spolied-The worst child of a lead to ever grace Indian Tellywood- Kapoor.
