Astha's POV on why she stayed back at Agni Mansion

i don't find aastha dumb either. she is a normal 23 yr old girl who is trying to resolve issues in her life with her own understanding of people and situations than with someone else's understanding. i don't think she is back at agni household just because she is madly in love with shlok. she is there because she wants answers to the questions she asked shlok under the shower. she wants those answers because she doesn't want to oscillate between divorce and marriage after these six months are completed. she wants to make a firm decision next time without being influenced by either kalindi or shlok.

may be she is not slapping everyone in agni household and going mahila andolan way in dealing with her divorce issue but i like her way better. calm and composed. she already started her work. when she was asked to do the 'grih pravesh', she said that she is doing everything for anjali's sake and not for anyone else's sake(read shlok). she knows about the strained relationship of anjali and shlok. she started pushing his buttons by giving more importance to anjali over shlok.

we also have to note that she doesn't know the true natures of all the agni house inhabitants. from whatever knowledge she has of them, she considers niranjan, sojal, kavya, varad, vinayak as good people. anjali and shlok are angry and bitter people in her view. so going by her experiences with them, she doesn't consider anyone really evil in that house. she considered her situation with a balanced mind and took a sensible decision. she can be described as immature and good hearted but not dumb and weak.

Today I want to speak from Astha's POV. Astha was being pulled in all directions whether it is Shlok who is treating her like a toy (his object of attention) and not letting her go, whether it is Kalindi who is being protective, whether it is Anjali, NA or Jyothi. Everybody wanted her to behave and act the way they want her to be. Nobody was trying to understand her POV. I know the word "smarter and stronger" Astha is 'not' appealing here 😕 but I felt that she went with Shlok to Agni mansion because she 'wants to' go there. She wants to find answers to all those questions about Shlok which are killing her from inside. She asked him the same questions at the court too, but he smartly avoided them and gave rhetorical answers. She convinces her mother by saying "Shlok ne maryada nahi langha hain ab tak", that tells how much she trusts him. She believes that he has not crossed his limits till now and will not do so in future. In a way she is right about his not crossing limits, but what is the guarantee that he will not do so in future? such an innocent,gullible, sweet girl she is. She nicely persuaded Kalindi that 6 months will be done easily and if she feels any problem she will come back(I thought I heard something like this). If she wanted to go back, she would have gone back with her Mom right there and then. She understands that her mother is being protective of her but wanter her to let go. Though I am not in favor of how she talked to NA about maan,apmaan blah blah...but she has clearly understood that NA gives importance to apmaan by this time and I guess that where she is going. She does understand that she has to fight against Shlok and Anjali in the house.And in precap too she draws lines to Anjali and thus to Shlok that he is still a stranger to her. Her Love for Shlok is her weakness at this point and she cannot escape it, will she be able to escape it if she goes back to her home(just like @jalpari said yesterday in her post)? She better find those answers by staying in Agni mansion...And last she did not say anything when either NA or Jyothi asked her not to leave the house forever or stay with Shlok.

This is what I felt is her reasoning to stay back, she is a flawed character we all know that and hopelessly in love with her tall,dark, handsome prince.

I still believe that one day will come when she will understand that "she is infact Shlok's weakness" and he cannot stay away from her and then its her game...But will she be able to play mind games with Shlok who is her visible enemy and non-visible enemy NA? ...that has to be seen!😕

My POV, I do not think she took a right decision to stay at Agni mansion, she would have gone with her Mom ; that way Shlok would have had that pinch in his heart of losing her.

Aastha seems to be topping the list of hated ppl in EBP now. Sad to see that 😔. CVs need to take care as she is the female lead of the show. I can never hate Aastha bcoz Shrenu is the face of Aastha and I absolutely adore Shrenu. But I am disappointed with CVs for showing the female lead to be a very confused character. It should be either a YES or a NO for divorce from Aastha. She seems to be swinging btwn the two. In front of her mother she keeps saying that she needs a divorce and she kept mum at the court. And today she was found to be saying hamare paas aur koyi raasta bhi nahin hai except waiting for 6 months. Of course raasta hain if she really wants a divorce. She can go back to Kirloskar house and appeal in the high court. From wot is shown I feel it is hooton pe haan and dil main Na for divorce from Aastha. In that case she shud really give the relationship another chance and not act smart by asking for a separate room and all. She shud try to find out wot happened btwn Shlok and Swathi as she is aware of her being present in Shloks past. Of course she can get support from Varad and Vinayak. High time they change the mood of the show.

No offence pls I love EBP and Ashlok whatsoever.😊
