Is sex the only wifely duty?

I don't understand y everyone is after jodha for not fulfilling her 'wifely duties'. I mean is sex the only wifely duty one can imagine and if so then y no one blames jalal for not sleeping with saleema n fulfilling his 'husbandly duties'. I mean jodha is caring towards him, advices him, is ready to die for him, listens to all his taunts n insults n still is standing there trying to defend him n still is not considered a wife. Maybe someone can give me the definition of a wife coz I don't understand this.

I wish at the end of this ben track jodha asks this to jalal.

everything was fine until the letter misunderstanding. and then maham and ruqaiyya brainwashed him. but jalal should use his own mind. uske paas dil nahi he lekin dimag to he. and ruq understands herself a good wife!!!!! even benazir seems better than her now. after abul mali's capture no-one else was as concerned as jodha to find the secret aide of him. if jodha isn't a good wife then jalal too isn't great. jodha never humiliated jalal in public, and can't stand his humiliation behind his back too but jalal has done that thousands of times. yet jodha doesn't care about her humiliation but rather makes sure her husband,her family is safe and secured.

i don't understand what duties the fool is talking abt...for him only physical relationship is a wife duty...highly digusting thinking...

hmmm..i guess it is the major part of the relationship..i will not touch a man if i do not love him..but my own husband..if i do not let him touch then i am sending wrong message and it can very well break the relationship..i have seen this happen with people.. more in case of arranged marriages where the female is not willing to completely submit herself to a stranger!
