when Ishita was standing in court & talking about Ruhi Raman had soft corner for her & Ruhi , his eyes did get moist he did get emotion where as Ruhi mom (Shagun)she was emotionless . at least Raman is better than her mom ,he don't know how to show but he is 10 times better than her

Agree with you. He is definitely better than Shagun.

I think Raman was somewhat relieved that Ruhi chose Ishita not Shagun

i felt same he was not restless like before , when Ishita said i am a kidnaper etc he had regert

When we watch the flashbacks , we find that Raman always had a heart .

It has been badly bruised by Shagun

He wil regain it with Ishita and Ruhi's help

Raman is far better than Shagun and I believe hez a good parent as well...Whatever little scenes we had between Raman and Ruhi conveys a lot...He may sound blunt but hez realistic!! Sometimes parents shout on their kids and its only for their betterment!

I think he does not want to show that he is senti, remember his mom found his pillow that was all damp, He wants to appear as a tough guy.
