Chankya Vs olympias - Page 3

Sameksha was the star of today's episode! She is bound to gain some more fans after this - real beauty with brains and talent. 👏 I wouldn't have expected anything less from Olympias, the queen, and the mother of Alexander. He would have been extremely proud of her for the way she dealt with the situation.

I hate snakes but the scene where Olympias summons them was pretty cool - loved the look on Chanakya's face! The thoda thoda zehr dialogue - ugh, why am I not surprised that this was brought in? Bindusara's mother apparently died because she ate food that had some poison that Chanakya used to give Chandragupta Maurya regularly. So now Olympias and Chanakya share one thing in common - giving their "students" (Alexander in the case of Olympias) poison from a young age in order to make them resistant.

I am still trying to figure out why Olympias smiled at Anusuya at the end - it didn't seem like a malicious smile at all. I am hoping to see a dignified meeting between them tomorrow and not a catfight. It was sad to see Olympias without her crown and jewels, but she looked every bit the queen and boy did she look even more gorgeous than before today! 👏

What plan does Chanakya actually have for Olympias? I think it goes beyond just hurting Alexander. I wonder if as a by product of his grand scheme, he also wants to help exonerate Anusuya, since his spies must have told him about what happened with Sumer and Kanishk.

Some of us think feel that Kanishk may not die, but be seriously injured. For some reason, I was not surprised to see him regret betraying his people. He may not be as strong a warrior as Alexander but he's the only one who's been able to make him bleed so far. 😆 I found it hard to believe he could just push Alexander and escape so easily. Ugh! Mazaaq hai kya? Now Alexander will chase him down.

I don't see how anyone can save him though - he went to a secluded location and Alexander found him. 😲 And if Alexander gave his zubaan that only he would touch Kanishk, then I guess that would apply to the 3 Pauravengers who are looking for him - they won't find him, I think.

A lot happened in today's episode. I just wish the CVs wouldn't try to artificially darken the scenes - the "lighting" seems unnatural and it is hard to see what is going on. 😕

Based on what Olympias said, it's highly likely Alexander will burn cities to the ground. What I didn't like was Chanakya's sarcasm about devta Zeus' jalaal. No matter the enmity between them, and whatever he may think of Olympias and Alexander, I don't think he should have said that about her religion. It was in poor taste. 😡
