Anusuya is so smart she already has Dairius figure out Olympia is so nuts she would drive me nuts lol. I think I read somewhere that he kept her away from the politics. Of it

Anusuya: she talks big, do very little. SHE doesn't have courage to face the challenge. She is typical woman who is not independent and who is helpless before male dominated society...She wants to bring change but is too weak ...She doesn't have that bold killer instinct that is necessary to stand toe to toe with dominating male ...and she has no brain

This analysis is of deeds. But intentions precede deeds, and both impact consequences.
Olympia is a force of personality launching victories, but Anusuya is a character of nobiity with lofty intentions. As per Aristotle, the prior is meant to be a means to attain the latter, for man to be complete. This philosophy influences Alexander profoundly, as happiness in Aristotle's teachings is on how man lived and how man died, its not piecemeal.

Even the real Porus seems to have imbibed both these characteristics albeit in a different setting, and hence the eventual mutual admiration between Alexander and Porus.

Its now too late to show Anusuya as a warrior, she is no Kaikeye for palace intrigues. But Queen Anusuya's role could have retained her nobility of character
and still been a useful life, perhaps like Sita bringing up her children, challenging her husband for justice and getting her revenge on Shivdutt.
She could have reminded Puru about Hasti's ignoble deeds earlier, and persuade not to save him.But she needs some prior context, which the current situation cannot provide, as she did not exist in her own son's life to compete with Pritha.
Ripu living despite being beaten down by shivdutt and Anusuya sorta dying and then all the 21 year reunion nonsense, is the reason this show is singularly failing.Sometimes you have to choose your heroes, it was either Ripu or Anusuya during early part of the show. As Alexander famously said, 'Heaven cannot brook 2 suns, nor this earth, 2 masters' making this as justification for chasing Darius till the very end.Initially before the decisive war of Gaugemala, his most experienced generals counsel him to share the vast empire with Darius, and he refuses, rejects the proposal for marriage to Barsin as an alliance even. What is the point in these CVs reading history, if you cannot draw from it even simple inspiration for a piece of fiction??

As of Olympia's deeds being recorded already, we are using her as a sounding board. I loved how she told the sitting king, who had warned her of consequences for interference earlier,he just won a smashing victory on enemy territory - that he cannot journey to Bharat, as an order from the Empress, not to be considered just as an order from his mother. Of course this was a selfish thought from a mother, not in nobility by an empress. But the ability to wield power is the greatest weapon of those who occupy the palaces(or parliaments). And Olympia shows it, having also voiced earlier - 'Jo ek shah kar saktha hai, woh Mallika kyun nahin' (in a negative context though in the show, as she saw Phillip flirting and decided to do the same😆).
Anusuya's failings then are colossal for she wants power for the greater good but does not exercise it at a personal level for the same. As an queen she sheds tears in vain, not in vengeance nor for justice. And those are the tears that write history. But perhaps her maternal nobility is rewarded later in life in that her son outlives her(just as any mother would wish) while Olympia unfortunately outlives her own son, having to, till her last breath, fight for her grandson's survival.

Oops, I take back my previous post , All hail the bharatiya Robinhood Anusuya 😛 now she can officially have sedition charges levied at her, which poor shivdutt had to do on the sly upon her doublecrossing Bamni at Takshila😆
And ya, how dare Darius cheat Bamni by providing chains for Puru all the way from Faras but forgot to mention it was originally made in China😳, cheap imitation plastic that Puru shattered them like glass 🤣

Both the women in puru's life keep saving him better than male leads always saving the female lead here puru is officially the damsel in distress.lachi n Anusuya failed Darius plan. Hope that lachi get opportunity to kick or slap hasti.
