Ok first of all I want to say that I am a great fan of Porus and am happy that someone attempted to make a show on him but I am completely irritated by what they are showing now
Not discrediting anything from the Persians, they were definitely a great civilization but India of those days wasn't some random country that Kanishka is trying to imbibe Persian attire (like people today do for western attire)

Secondly Persians are doing business with Paurav Rashtra, they might have taken up the market but not the country that they would say Gulami tumhaare khoon me hai. I mean if British said this it made sense because they were ruling on India and before them India was a slave country for 7 centuries. But why would or how could Persians say this statement about the citizens of a country which was not under their possession and which hadn't come under any foreign occupation by then. What kind of superiority would Persians have over them
What was meant by Anusuya saying mera putra videshiyon ko nikaal phenkega? I agree that Persians capturing the market was wrong but completely ending the business collaboration with other countries would be equally bad

And final nail on the grave that club had the hoarding"Bhartiya andar nhi aa sakte hain" however uninterested the king might be he wouldn't allow such things openly mentioned in his kingdom about his citizens. This was so much a copy of British empire when there were rules of Indians not entering some elite clubs

I am sorry but probably in an attempt to arouse some patriotism they have made a completely unrealistic and illogical and have messed up with time frame like anything

I agree with u but I guess this all doing of shivdutt & Kanishk. Bamini was never ashamed to be an Indian, I guess he is not aware of it like human trafficking case kind of. Puru will put end all these things, I guess he will again takeover d market from Persians.

I have no issue with the trafficking thing I can understand that it was happening illegally and Bamni didn't know

I don't understand this constant ranting against Indians and having hoarding like Indians not allowed this is all happening in public and in an official way how do you justify that
It was so Dogs n Indians not allowed type hoarding that we see in pre independence movies

This is what I found really weird and out of place.Come on a lodge where Indians are not allowed and stuff like that used to happen in the British Raj.
Not in ancient India where Indian kings ruled over the place.Subsidiary alliance chal raha hai kya?? Like Bamni is just a king in name only and the real power lies with the Farsi East India Company 🤪🤣

Also Paurav Rashtra is just one of the several kingdoms in India.Just because Persians have their influence on this one Kingdom they believe they own the country?Like there are still kingdoms like Takshashila and above all Magadh which was the Big Boss in that era. Also Paurav Rashtra has only trade relations with the Persians. It's not that the Persians have conquered it.So this Farsi gundaraj is just unbelievable.

This is what I found weird.Apart from that I really enjoy the show.😆

That is exactly my point. Obviously Persians have captured the market but that doesn't mean they rule Paurav Rashtra. And as you said Paurav Rashtra was such a small empire maybe 1/30 of the Akhand Bharat that we have back then and just by capturing that they are behaving like they are the owners of India and that too openly. It seems totally out of place

And yes they are making it like British. That's the best way for the makers to arouse some patriotism in the audience
