Highlights for thursday

--NK asks for a special room for the child to hospital reception. Tells moorthy that even if it costs more, we will manage it.

--He tells moorthy that malliga was very angry with him for asking just 1 word to bhaskar whether any truth is there in shop fraud allegations. moorthy gets upset at him and says you shd never have said like that and says u don't have full confidence in ur children and u have more belief in Kadhir. Bhaskar is ur son and u shd not ask him ask him like that.Nk says it is nnot like that and leaves.

--Nk comes home and calls for mudaliar and asks him for 4-5 lakhs money by keeping his paddy fields as security.Nk comes to know of ramesh's visit and is happy.

--Saras speaks to shan and goes on telling her pulambal about the insults (!) she had to face in NK's house. shan does not hear even these things and lot of arguements now take place and shan says finally to saras that u shd change ur attitude and reform. saras bro is also there. shan finally tells saras that he is going to Nachiarpuram and going to bring tulasi. saras is stunned.

Scene 1 – Hospital

NK goes to the front desk in the hospital and asks if he could get a private room for his granddaughter meenakshi. The front desk person says that it, will cost a lot, NK says it is ok. The FD person says he will check and let him know. Moorthy arrives & NK tells him about how the people in the general ward are insensitive, which is scaring meenakshi. And it is much better to change meenakshi to a private room. Moorthy inquires about NK's visit to meet bhaskar. NK says how his visit soured out, as the inspector said there is a new allegation on bhaskar that he tampered with the thunikadai accounts & NK asked bhaskar if he did that, which irked mallika. Moorthy is shocked and asks how did NK even think of asking bhaskar such a question in front of others. He should have trusted bhaskar. Moorthy says that NK trusts kadhir more than his own children, even though they take every caution not to hurt their dad in any way & live by his rules. He requests NK to have some faith in them. NK is shocked and says why do you even think like this. Please don't think in these terms, & confuse yourself, I have implicit trust in all of you. Let me go and make arrangements for meenakshi's treatment.

Scene 2 – Nachiyarpuram

NK returns and sivagamy fills him up about Ramesh's visit. NK is pleasantly surprised. NK is anxious to know what Ramesh said. Sivagamy tells NK as to how Ramesh's visit suggests that vidya's life will end up in a good way. NK says I'm very gladdened with this news. NK is on a dialogue trip about how vidya would have felt all these days. (NK has a sad face pretty much all the time, that even if he smiles, I might end up thinking why is he sad now). Mudaliar comes to meet NK. NK takes the vayal patharam, which sivagamy is hesitant to sell as it is NK's fathers memory. NK says he is attached to the Vayal, & also his granddaughter, & now it is very important to sell this land, for meenakshi's treatment. NK then briefs mudaliar about meenakshi's cancer & how he needs to sell this vayal. Mudaliar promises to do his best in selling this land. Siva is witnessing all this. AS mudaliar leaves, amala calls siva. Siva is hesitant to take the call, NK asks him to take the call, siva says that this seems to be an unknown number and cuts the call off.

Scene 3 – Kanchipuram

Saras house, his mama & shanmugam's dad are talking, saras brother says he will take care of some collection and return before shanmugam. Saras asks her brother to stay as shanmugam will not listen if she narrates whatever happened in nachiarpuram. As the mama is leaving shamugam comes home. He inquires about how come his mama is here, without doing collection, saras comes out and says that she asked him to come, as she needed someone to mediate between them. Shanmugam just stares at her and goes inside to change. Saras goes behind him and keeps screaming about how she was insulted in the place where she went to ask for dukham, shanmugam leaves to wash his face. Saras goes behind him again, and keeps going on and on about her treatment & how everyone in nachiarpuram is a low life(im sorry I simply cannot write all of her dialogues, disgusting). Shanmugam's dad gives him something to drink. Shanmugam's silence is freaking out saras and she asks him about what is he going to say now that his MIL has insulted her. Shanmugam says he knows them & he knows her as well. He knows who will be straightforward & who will not be. He says if you look with a bad eye, then everything will look bad, so ones outlook should be good. Her brother is mediating between shans & saras. Shanmugam's dad says if the people around us don't like what we do, we should try to change ourselves, to fit in. Saras brother says that all her life she has been a control freak, at least now she has to start changing for her son, & nothing but happiness will come their way. He then tells shanmugam that his mother has changed, so you also keep this in mind. Shanmugam says ok, & says amma im going to nachiarpuram now, & see what the situation is out there & if possible will bring Tulsi back. Screen freezes on saras face

Update for Fri Apr 28 2006 (Fast moving story today)

Scene 1


Ramesh and brother (what is his name?) are talking in the balcony. Bro asks about R's N/puram visit and how was anni. Ramesh says vidya is upset of course but she is understanding the situation and she is coping with it. He says after father's death, I cried and let out my feelings but vidya is unable to cry because she does not want to distress her family anymore. He says we have to convince mother to accept vidya and then only she can come in. He says now that father has gone, we are only there to support mother and we shoulkd not do anything to mhurt her. Bro says mother has a fear that vidya is responsible for all this and she might more bad things and so 1st we should remove this fear from her mind—he speaks very maturely. While they were speaking, the balcony door is ajar and darshini is seen listening to the conversation and she is horrified now and she propmptly goes to her mother and tells her angrily that it is better to book 3 tickets to Bombay and go back there. .Sundari asks her whether you went out in the heat or what –take some fruits, she says. Darshini further says yesterday, we were searching for . ramesh and he had actually gone to N/Puram to see Vidya. .Darshini now talks about the conversation btween the brothers and says his mind is full of vidya only and how can my mariage take place with ramesh?

Sundari now says I am going to see sharada and u just enter in the guise of giving coffee and tell about vidya's phon call and then sharada herself will tell whatever we want to tell.

sundari goes to sharada and takes her in and tells darshini to bring coffee. Soon the brothers come in and ask sharad abt her health. Sundari turns the conversation about Ramesh's absence from house the pervious day and sharada says ramesh might have been bored sitting at home an dhe might have gone out somewhere. ramesh does not say anything to this.Now darshini comes in bringing coffee and sundari asks her about the phone call and she tells ramesh that vidya called.Now Ramesh's bro gets angry and says how u can tell her name as vidya—call her as anni and also he asks when she called on telephone. darshini says she forgot to tell ramesh about thecall which came few days before. Bro asks why u are talking about the call now.Sundari is shocked and asks sharada why he is talking about that girl like this—now sharada gets angry and says she considers that this marriage is a sham one and she will not accept vidya at all.



Scene 2



Revathi sees the mobile ring and stop. She gives the mobile to Shiva. He looks at her in contempt an tells her to go. He now sees a text message from amala --"Hate you' He gets horrified and goes out and calls her on mobile. She cuts his call every time. On 3rd attempt, she answers and speaks angrily to him calling him repeatedly "da". She says where were you and why you cut the call when I got you after a long time? he says very unavoidable circumstances and she says this is the last time she will accept such a thing. She asks him whether he discussed about his marriage with his parents.Now shiva tells about vidya's marriage incidents and about his niece in hospital with cancer.She apologises profusely and says she did not know about the background and that is why she got angry. She further says her father's friend is the dean of adayar hospital and he will help out.says if you can do something, we will be most thankful. She further asks him to come to chennai and then they can go to hospital to see what can be done.



Scene 3


Inspector in police station talking to his superior officers about the case. he says forensic report has come and clearly the 2nd glass of coffee found in ramesh's room has ramesh';s finger print and a unknown print. The cup of coffee drunk by MS had bhaskar's print . So we can assume that the murderer gave the 2nd cup to ramesh as the 1st cup had been taken by MS. So ramesh must be the intended victim and bhaskar surely would not have had any motive to kill ramesh. He further says bhaskar's name was proposed by pitchandi and so we will keep a close watch on the cook and we will see what he does from now on. The officers agree with him and tell him to continue the investigation.

Now Malliga/father/lawyer come in and tell that they want to take bhaskar on bail. But inspector tells them that no need for bail at all because we are releasing him—he says we took him on suspicion only and we are releasing him. Malliga's father asks on whom is your suspicion but inspector (very wisely) says I can't disclose that right now.Malliga says from beginning I said my husband is innocent but inspector says we are doing a police job of investigating—that is all. Bhaskar is called and inspector apologises to him and tells him to come again if reqd.

As they come out, malliga tells bhaskar that u have not eaten properly for so may days –first we will go home and you take food ,she says. Bhaskar says he wants to go to adyar hospital first and then do anything else. Malliga gets angry and says your family has let you down and they don't care about you and so you can't go there.Bhaskar says whatever may be, my family is important to me . Malliga says first take food from home and then we can discuss this further. Now an auto comes in and bhaskar asks point blank whether u are coming or not.When she refuses, bhaskar raises his hand to beat her and malliga's father stops him. He just gets into the auto and goes away.

Malliga/father are stunned.

Tuesday --
-Ashok breaks down about seeing vidya's wedding video. He blames himself for the ruin of that family His SIL consoles him and says since he repents for his misdeeds there is hope for him and asks him to leave home and make his life a better one. His brother meets him at the door and announces a proposal for him from a rich family. Ashok tells about his plan of leaving home and finding a job elsewhere The brother consents because in this repentent mood he might be a hindrance when police come for questioning.
-- Bhasker goes to the cancer hospital to see Meenakshi. His brother tells him to go to Malliga's place and
see his child and console his wife.
--karpagam's parents arrive at the hospital in a angry mood for having been kept in the dark about Meenakshi's illness. They fight with NK and Moorthy and hot words come out. Finally Karpagam asks them to leave the place.

Wednesday--

--Shan comes to NK's house and they tell him what happened. He consoles tulasi and tells her he will support her and take care. He suggests may be they can go to madras and try for test tube baby or any other method

--Bhaskar come shome and seeks apologises from everyone incl new vidya.shan consoles him

--malliga is told by her mother to keep fighting and not bend so esaily but her father says she shd go back to N/puram rather wait for them to come and take you. Malliga is still upset and reluctant to go.

Just a brief outline for Monday episode - 3rd April 06

1. NK comes home and consoles Vidya
2. Kadhir at police station. His mama tells him about happenings in the marriage . Kadhir says NK deserves it but feels pity for Mohanasundaram. Kadhir wants to console Ramesh but his mama says better go a little later when things cool down a bit.
3. Pandi tells his son he came to know everything abt marriage through his friend who took the videos and Pandi is now very happy.
4. Ramnesh very sad and crying--being consoled by Sundari,husband,darshini.Ramesh getting memories of being in happy moods with is parents and is now repenting.

Now the most important bit--
Bhaskar cries and tells his wife about hiding the josiar's advice about horoscopes not matching and the josiar specifically telling him not to conduct the marriage.Malliga is shocked and we see Karpagam also listening in to the conversation.
