The contest has succesfully completed 6 rounds and at prsent preparations are in full swing for the wild card entry submissions. IF SRGMP Contest - The Journey So Far
For those of you, who are not aware of the contest - IF SRGMP Contest is a real musical competition in the virtual IF world where our very own IF registered members are participating in this singing contest. The contest follows the gharana style of Zee's SRGMP show. In our show too, there are four gharanas and each gharana is led by a mentor. 16 participants were selected from the audition round and distributed to the 4 ghranas. Each week, the participants sing songs based on a predefined theme and upload the songs in the designated thread within a given timeframe. A panel of 3 neutral judges listen to the songs and pass their judgment based on some evaluation parameters for every round. Each week a certain allotted number of singers getting the lowest scores get eliminated and in the end a final winner shall be selected.That was IF SRGMP contest in a nutshell.
