Guys,
I just caught the epi and it was heart wrenching. Not just the demise of Anand but even the first half interaction of Pooja and Naren.
Akshay aced those scenes; he is an actor par excellence. What a nuanced portrayal that we could feel his inner turmoil, his confusion, his hurt.. he mouthed the word dosti, yet his eyes screamed love! He was begging to Pooja to help him make sense of all this.. his one source of clarity or should I say his bedrock in this world. Kudos! 👏

Amidst the collective tears for Anand's demise, let's not forget about Naren. His drunken stupor was pitch perfect.

Second, I am hoping against hope - for Anand. We have only Rahul's word for it. He examines Anand and pronounces him dead with the only intent in those scenes to get Mayank out of the picture. Is there another conspiracy hidden here? Was his aim to use this to blackmail Mayank in the future , hide Anand somewhere else, only to use this ace in a later situation??
I am hoping against hope, I know. I don't want him dead. Period.

Yet I do realise, the ending stanza did quote death in it.. is he gone for good? Why take so much of pain in auditioning for a 10 day character?? I dunno.. I am hoping against hope. I have seen this guy on and off in Sanyukt, as this show preceded my erstwhile favourite. The impact he has managed to create with this short stint in exemplary and at least as per me, what he could never achieve with sanyukt. Another round of kudos. 👏

Yeah the scenes were truly heart wrenching and naren did amazing job. However m a lil disappointed wid Sheen's performance in those scenes. M NT sure if that was how she was directed to do bt she could not exude d emotions Pooja would be going through at that point of time.

Agree with you, Anne.
I deliberately chose to ignore comneting about Sheen's underwhelming performance and infact just like you chose to give her the benefit of doubt, citing direction.
I expected her to break down or burst into tears at such an overwhelming display of emotion from Naren - something which she had never expected.

Second reason for not mentioning it was that I wanted the post to be positive. Praise the deserving and not cloud it with a discussion about what could have been. 😊
