But why naren ??...if somebody say to naren that his question lies in so n so place( rahul said before entering mujra place ur answr are here)...he goes there...if someone said ur question lies in that work ( waering bhagwa dress during padyatra told by sadhu)he do that work...In future if someone said ur question lies in marriage then he will marry...then have kids...going offc ( will give answers)...
He will go offc...means not using his brain ...jo bhi use kehta hai...ki yeh krne se he will get answers he do that thing...

As others have mentioned here, he's still very young despite his bent towards spirituality...he comes across more as a seeker in search of answers and along the way he makes mistakes like everyone else...so he is prone to bursts of childish anger when things don't go his way...he may be very tender-hearted and compassionate towards innocent living things otherwise but can be surprisingly callous when he closes his mind to all else but his point of view.

I personally was more amused to see this fall from grace and how conveniently Naren has to fall in Rahul's trap again after what had just been revealed about Rahul's behavior...lol...lazy writing...I guess they wanted to establish that Pooja's hand burning hit him harder than a goat dying...lol

Also, quite amusing that a 1920s Devdas style kotha complete with antique utensils to pour liquor from and elegant mujra dancing lady is all available in these modern times...lol...I knew Naren was an antique piece but all these Rajshri version of "vices" are also amusing to see...waise jokes apart, it was a beautifully directed and performed sequence...the lady dancing on "Chhaap Tilak" danced very well.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!

Exactly ! to see something like this on TV was like. But then you can expect this only in Rajashri serial. Nice way to stand out in a crowd ! I never knew 'chaap tilak' was sung by Lata and Asha. So googled that to find it's an old Bollywood song.

@Bold: Yes. He did not. But his ideals/actions gave me the impression...

My question is, on one side they show him putting himself through rigorous physical tasks like lying down on ice, dunking/jumping into cold waters etc... What does he do that for? Improve endurance? Pushing limits of pain? He endures as long as it is his designed physical pain... but a little mental pain he goes running to find shelter in alcohols and kothas... I mean, doesn't he do whatever he does every thursday to gain through pain?

I am not shocked about alcohol in particular but him finding escape in that so easily... Anything to stop dealing with that pain... then what's the point of all the physical tortures n bare-footed yatras?

And yes, easily falling into Rahul's trap is also quite absurd. I'll conclude he is plain stupid if he fails to mull over it after he gets back to senses.

Also, I am quite not sure what he is drowning in sorrow over?😕 That Pooja got hurt or his farm got burnt? All his flashes were of Pooja burning her hand... not over the destruction of farm itself. Errr..??? Shouldn't he be rushing to find a shelter for his shocked animals? Why is he acting like he burnt her hand?

@Blue: 100%. Hope he realises it soon. Or that's going to be a HUGE block in his pursuits.

Yep, I've been watching this the last few weeks...I like the soundtrack of the show and some aspects of the characterizations are interesting...but the show moves very slowly😆

I've never heard this version of Chhaap Tilak before either...I'm more familiar with Kailash Kher's version of the song which I love...but this was quite nice too...and yes, I appreciated the hatke aspect of the dance...not making it vulgar like the usual way such scenes go in movies and TV these days...had an old world feel to it...
