shobha same case!!!😆😆during school days like mimi said i was gud in maths but still never liked it!!🤢🤢🤢but during my univ. days we've 2 study 4 courses (up2 10+1 & +2 level) of maths as i'd done science from medical stream i.e i'd biology alongwid phy, chem & eng in +1 &+2!!so wen i went 2 univ. i'd 2 study maths courses as minor ones during grad wid statistics tho i'd done my grad & PG in horticulture. but students from bio side'd 2 study maths & from math side hav 2 study bio during 4yrs. of grad.

and i never passed maths in the same sem & had 2 repeat it as we cud take our sub which we'd failed in same sem of nxt yr or cumimg yrs. but still i managed 2 complete my grad wid in 3.5yrs(one sem i'd 2 drop due 2 sum prob so had 2 take those sub also in cuming yrs & sems).

@anu same wid me abt nos.!! wenever i see mathematcs nos. baring addn/subtrn/divsn/multpln means basic maths, my brain stop working or rather i don't allow it 2 do!!😆

Hain really? Here at college level we have two choices pre-engineering or pre-med which is all science and no maths! 😛

Yeah its different but guess studying both helps you develop a good basis and more choice as what to do in future. :)

Its just one of the core subjects that I have to study besides my majors. Thanks, I really hope so. Phele we had great teachers and also my bestie is like super good in finance so she used to be a big help but now I'm like alone...so kind of worried.

Sigh, that's tough then. I can understand, I'm always so thankful to have my friend with me...whenever don't understand anything she's there to help and vice versa. But hope the teachers are great this time too and there's some nice people which you'll bond with quickly and who'll be of great help :)

mimi earlier during my school days in our state we cud study 4 sub like bio wid phy, chem & eng or maths wid these 3 sub but now 5 sub r 2 b studied during 10+1,+2 but sumtimes in sum schools instead of math as 5th sub oder sub is there!!😊😊

Yes, really. Without maths here, most doors are closed...for any course practically😆

Here you need to have A or B in maths at Advanced level to do engineering, and medical is the same. I know, for the med it looks strange😛

Yup, it helps but then it's hard on those who dont like maths. :)
