So here is another of those don't understand dialogues from Sugni.

After TVS creates a mis-understanding between Adini with the "payal" at Kuhu's engagement she walks into TVS's study and says:

"sub kuch toh apne chine liya hai aab jo bacha kucha hai woh to rahene digiya..." (You have snatched everything, so leave me what little I have left...)

I do not get it - what has he snatched from her?

Her dream was live a respectable life of a married woman which she had acheived at that point by forcing Aditya to marry her so what has she lost? As far as I can see nothing.

If she is referring to the disrespect she being treated with by the rest of the family, then thats not because of TVS but because when her wimp of a husband stands up for her to them they ignore him. Thats her problem on TVSs.

If she is referring to her self respect then again she did that herself when she sold herself in the village square. Again not his fault.

I will tell you what she lost...
She lost the opportunity she had by going to him and he sending her home untouched. They added the line to confuse the audience and Sugni came home visible shaken...but then they turn around and said she was Sati Savitri as nothing happened...which in turn made TVS again look like the better man...
Sugni was just an angry teenager throwing an tantrum because he gave her dreams when he ran after that bus , dreams she never had b4 then. Then it all broke and she blamed him...
funny that made it two occasions...she was willing to compromise her dignatiy but had the guts to tell TVS he was the wrong man.!!!
