Amrita looked at Adi's petulent expression and could not help but smile.

I know Adi but I am not going to buy things for me...this is for my business... I need to source unique things and... these small villages unique prospect...So come on do it for my business.

Aditya continued to object and Amrita continued to explain...

**Amu , U go for that shopping daily what will happen if one day u will not go and spend some time with me .. I know that your business is important but You can do it tomorrow.. I request you lets go on a long drive and u do the shopping next day ... Ok**

As Amrita listens to Adi she feels her anger rising. She glares at Adi and in a very cold voice says...

.....who do you think you are?... what gives you the right to speak to me like that... get angry?

she continues... look we agreed to be friends... BUT that does not mean you can treat me with this attitude...if you want to be friends then...lets agree some ground rules... one of which is that you lose this high handed attitude that you have...that I have to drop everything and do what you want.

Instead sometimes you have to do what I want...Otherwise forget it.

She storms off.

Adi is shocked and stands rooted to the spot. As he stands there thinking,
*Amu does have a point, because of our past relationship when I am with her I automatically act as I did b4... but.. This Amu is not the same as the one b4 ... I must remember that... How Could I do this again ... oh adi .. dont do it again .. No no u should Not do the same mistakes all over again .. Oho .. What Am I doing ... Oh me 🤢*

Adi realize That he was wrong .. still in his deep thoughts - *If I continue to treat amu as b4 she will probably tell me to go to hell 😕 or worse hit me..🤢 and more that likely leave*

He takes a deep breath, calms himself *Shhh Adi.. relax .. Go go .. join her and do what makes her happy... Go...*

Adi goes in search for Amu. He finds her opening the car door.

He makes a peace sign with his hand and as he reaches her says

** I am really sorry Amrita. You are right we cannot always do what I want. Come on, I will take you look at the handi crafts**

Amrita looks at him for a long moment and then without saying a word walks around and sits in the passenger seat.

they drove away and reach the shopping place...

Initially, Adi hangs back while Amrita looks at and selects products etc.

As he watches Amrita discuss/negotiate prices, availability etc he remembers all the emails and calls he had handled for her and acknowledged that she had good business acumen and has built up a nice little business.

As the afternoon progresses Adi joined in the discussions with Amrita and towards the end they have fun making up outlandish situations where some of the bizarre items for sale could be used. They are walking back to the car laughing when they are stopped by a young boy who Adi had noticed watching and following Amrita around all afternoon

Amrita blinked looking at the little boy.

She must have mis heard, but she could have sworn the little boy had said says breathlessly

"oh gori maam, mujse shadi karogi"?

Like her, Adi stood rooted to the spot shocked.

Slowly Adi starts to chuckle.

Amrita starts to smile and is about to laugh but seeing the little boy's serious face she kills her laughter, bend down to his level and says...I am honoured...but you need a girl who can take care of you and your family ...but I can't even cook... so you should wait for the right girl.

The little boy looking serious says... OK but at least buy this Gagra choli from me.

At this point Amrita laughs and says she loves his ingenuity.

Adi watches Amrita with the little boy ...

he wishes **I could be as courageous as the little boy and tell Amrita that I love her and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. But I am afraid that in trying to gain more he might lose what little he has...**

So instead he walked over to the bangle store buys some bangles that matched the outfit. He then walked back, gives money to the boy and takes the outfit from him.

He turns to Amrita and presents her with the outfit and bangles and say -**this is to say thank you for being my friend**
