She smiles and says softly yes I remember. I still remember how annoyed you were that Mamaji had faked his injury so that you would come here. You were annoyed but when it came to Mamaji you could not stay annoyed for long and few minutes later you two were back to being friends.

Amu stares Adi's smiling face and continues softly - You have changed Aditya. In the past I would be the one talking and you would be the one listening but only for a minute or two and then you would say Amu kitne baata karti ho tum? Thakti nahi? now you are making conversation.!!

hum kitna kuch sikhte hay life se ...
(yes Amu.. life teach us allot... we learn allot from life)

waqt ke saath insan badalta hay .. tum jo bohut bolti thi aab kam bolti ho aur main jo kam boltaa tha aaj bohut bolne laga
(time changes the man .,,, u used to talk allot and now u talk less and me .. who used to talk less talks allot)

You know Amu, Mamaji and I talked and have agreed to put the past behind us and move forward. I know Mamaji he will do as he says and I will too because I miss him ... I mean ...talking to him...discussing things with him... playing chess... but most of all just knowing that he was there. I hope one day we will be able to go back to being like we use to be.

They sit there quietly for a few minutes lost in thought and then Adi says

**They say you only value something when you no longer have it. It soo true just like Mamaji I didn't know what I had lost until I met you again...I know what I did to you is unforgivable but I hope that you do not hate me and that we can be friends again? **

You are right Zindagi bohut kuch sikha thi hai ... you see Adi I never thought that you would ever hurt me, not even the slightest, but the pain you gave me almost broke me... but perhaps that was necessary for me to understand my own strength. You know what they say ...what does not break you, makes you stronger...And I am stronger... And no Adi I don't hate you. I could never hate you but I did not like you very much.

But you have changed a lot Adi and I like the person you are becoming...that person I think would be a good friend to have.

They look at each other and smiled, relieved that they had found way to move forward together.

( Sugni is innocent, but you more mature naa, you should have explained it to her properly. Why was it you were stopping her, for no reason had an argument'come go pacify your wife)

Vickram walks bhind her as he hears her grumbling to herself '.unaware of his presence 'he listens to her '.
