With an angel like Vikram who needs a devil?

I wish Sugni and Adi would do more than cutting off his so called wings

I am so done with this obsessive, whiny big bully

From your posts it is so easy to tell that you haven't seen this show from the beginning. Well let me enlighten you that Vikram helped Sugni, her ungrateful mother and no good uncles and aunts long before he ever fell in love with her.

Champa's statement "I have always done what you asked me Sugni, but not this time" followed by her jumping into the well is poignantly telling.

In my POV: When Sugni called out to her to stop - at that very instant Champa had the intuitional flash that made her realize the folly of acquiescing to Sugni's demand in accompanying her to Jwala Thakur's mansion to complain about Digh Vijay. And instinctively in revolt jumped into the well - if it were any other person she may have heeded to reason. But Sugni's presence tipped her over the edge.
One might say that in the case of Champa, Sugni not only cut off her wings but also pierced her sword through her soul!!! Sugni may save Champa's physical body - but the wound Champa has suffered is deep and unforgettable!
I do so hope the CVs have the courage to endow one of the cast with the cudgels to curb Sugni in this "cut the wings and transform individuals in to devils or whatever" mission!!

I agree with you 100 % that Vikram started out very well in the beginning and did a lot for Sugni and her family (falling in love came much later). I loved them as a pair when love happened.

But, once Riva entered the picture and when Vikram fought hard to hide her existance, he started to stray (all his efforts in proving Gulabia wrong to hide Riva's truth from Sugni)

After the wedding fiasco when Riva and Sugni came face to face, Vikram tried hard to hang on to Sugni but not in a right manner

Once Adi came into Sugni's life, Vikram changed drastically and got from bad to worse with each passing day. Vikram inspite of being the older and mature one in the relationship started acting like a spoilt brat. His actions lately have been sick and way surpassed any goodness he had once upon a time. If Sugni hurt him, he hurt her too. If Sugni is responsible for his behaviour, he too is responsible for hers. If Sugni caused a wedge between Adi and him, he also had caused a wedge between Sugni and her mother. All the drastic changes and mess in everyone's lives have been triggered by his initial lies about Riva and the chain reaction that followed since that day.

Why he is being portrayed as a victim is something I will never understand

@suresh - Both Sugni and TVS are victims and perpetrators to a certain degree - I have no problem with this or their not being a pair - but the acts the characters are committing are beyond all sense of decorum and bespeak of debauchery!
These 2 characters (TVS and Sugni) started out as positively oriented with respect to what was expected to be portrayed in the show - the plight of bednis and their fight for freedom.
However, now their characters have been tainted and the purpose of the plot far removed from the bedni tribe issue. The plot now hovers around saas-bahu drama, family feud, revenge and depravity!

He is being portrayed as a victim because what we see is a show where he and only he is consistently shown as wrong without a doubt on this show, while others' wrongdoings are deemed as righteous, good, and ordained by God.

Even Reva's wrongs are not highlighted as much as TVS'.

i dont agree
its not wrong for a low class girl 2 dream
but wat wrong is just day dreaming and spoiling others life and dreams 2 fulfill ur dream, following immoral and wrong path 2 achieve ur dreams
one more thing wat is the need for a girl 2 get married
is marrying a rich young educated guy is end of world
she could have got educated, move to other place, work hard and have done some ditance education and got a gud job.shecould earn a respectable life for her and her mother
but she choosed 2 sell herself 2 take revange and get married forcefully 2 a guy so tat she can achieve status of thakuraiyan and respect which a thakuraiyan gets
but even after getting so low, desperate and cheap did she acheiev the respect which a thakuraiyan gets
no and she can never acheieve it
instead of fighting she choosed a shortcut and thought it mi8 get her to her dreams
now let her face it for her deeds
