I am guessing you are very young and have not lived in the world but let me say this, there are 1 billion people who profess to be Muslim. They do not look alike, they do not behave the same way. The celebration of different occasions is not enough to say they are not Muslim. One of you mentioned they did not acknowledge Muharram. The recognition of this occasion is predominate among the Shia faith. Some Sunni acknowledge the two day fast towards the end. Yes, I agree with you, they could have mentioned it, but that does not take from the fact these characters are not Muslim enough. What do you want - pardah, hijaabs? When Ramazan comes and they do not acknowledge it, then we can really say they are ignorant. Otherwise, the Muslim tradition does not have that many celebrations as there are in the Hindu faith.
