Does it really matter about Sug and TVS anymore?

After reading the updates, catching a few snippets of the show on SBB and on television, these characters have been ruined to the point the show is unbearable to watch. I really do not care who ends up with who anymore. For the past several weeks TVS has descended into an obsessed love, besotted by Sugni and weeping and wailing. Sugni has turned into a disgraceful woman willing to sell herself and destroy her life for a woman she does not know but screw over her best friend Amrita. Gulabiya is an embarassment as both a woman and mother; I really loved her character in the beginning and wanted her to get justice - the storyline between her and TJS would have been awesome to watch - wish they had hired a younger actor (the guy playing him was 50, not cute either) and better looking. PSH is a whole other show; I don't like anything and no creative team can salvage it without taking the show BACK to where it went sour and that means scrapping all those bad episodes. I do not like this new actor as Aditya either - he looks good with no-one and is too feminine. His acting is not even a major improvement on Anuj S. - for me he was fine as Aditya as long as he stayed with Amrita.
So for me, Sugni and Vikram are dead; the show is dead, Gulabiya and Aditya are dead and Amrita has gone (how stupid are the CVs making us think that Amrita, with all her money and friends could not call Aditya in secret - anyone can). Reva I cannot stand and the rest of the cast are poorly utilized. The dialogue is horrible; gone are the witty and thoughful lines by Mrinal Jha (that's her name right?).
So for the Aditya Sugni fans - enjoy the show...I am not even sad this jodi is happening cause it has NO chemistry - the last scene with Sugni trying to throw herself at Aditya was disgusting and if people are turned on by that or see chemistry in it, then heaven help us all.

I think Jwala Thakur and Gulabiya were never really a love story anyway. From the beginning though he had a soft spot for Gulabiya and cared a bit, he always a 🤬--however an interesting character he was.

This doesn't mean that the story wasn't interesting, of course. It's a shame many of the characters are nowhere to be found and this is show is just a laughing stock (what else can call it after the silliness shown with Reva's brother)?

I'm with you on that one, I don't recognise this show either. TVS is getting 'love' advise from Adi who couldn't even hold on to his woman. I thought the whole idea of this serial was to highlight the plight of the Bedni's and this young Bedni going against the society and this custom. Now she has given in and sold herself to the highest bidder. What example could she really set for other young girls hoping to get out? It really is painful watching this show, though I only give it a passing glance on most days. I too have no hope of TVS and Sugni getting back together. Those beautiful days are gone. The shed scene was painful to watch, not because I felt sad for those two, but because of the awful eye lock and the begging, obsessive TVS. These shows always start off so well then they enter into some twlight zone from which they cannot emerge 🤢
This new guy who is playing Adi has NO chemistry with anyone on the show. He reminds me of Bella from Twilight - only one facial expression - blank. At least the other Adi used to smile and he had good interaction with all the other characters. This guy is painful and yes very feminine. He's not someone I would even give a first look at 😆
Oh well there are other shows to watch but, I must admit, I keep going back just to see what else they are doing to destroy a once great show.

If Adi was going to be the hero then why did Anuj leave the show. He made a much better Adi than this one. I too, don't recognize this show at all now. Haven't watched it for over a month. In the mahasangam episode on Friday, caught a glimpse of Amrita, who finds out from G that Adi has done the sardakai on Sugni. She looked sad after hearing this. Maybe now they'll show her getting out of the way for good and Sugni-Adi coming together. The haveli should just catch fire and the whole lot die. Just end this nonsensical show once and for all, please. I'm so sad that they have made Sugni the weakest character there ever was. She was so lovable and now I just can't stand her.

I agree with the comments above.

I dont watch but read the WU. After this week I will give that a miss too.

Such a fantastic show, such fantastic strong unique characters, great acting talent. All wasted to make this show a mundane serial like soo many others.

To begin with I was thinking this show has more than love story ..talk about bedni community ?
there tradition and life in generaly of bedni's and then Sugni breaking through those rules of society for better future of every one ...talking about this change is surely slow process.
S &TVS faling in love was fine as they together would have discovered lot of things and help each other to change them ...there love was the biggest strength to bring any change ... Y did they bring REVA to spoil TVS character...Pls. let good be good for a change.
Now S was saying to TVS that she doesn't want relations with a married man but was she expecting all unmarried men at her sardhakai??...zero consistency in thoughts
I am thinking CV pushed for S sardhakai just to show viewer what it is ...pls. you could have shown somebodyelse sardhakai ...y spoil S for that .
well CV have to work big time clear up this mess
I started to watch episodes couple of times NOW I am ok with few updated and watch when
Varun & Gulki are on screen ..which is very rare.
feel said for characters whom you like so much .
CV have to understand there audience thinking ..that era had gone when view accepted what ever was shown.
Y did CV were changed ??

Please note I am not saying Sugni having Sardhakai is right -its wrong. As said above if they wanted to show what it was they could have shown it being done to someone else. she had other options.

But I think when she said to TVS she will not have a relationship with a married man, I think she meant a relationship where emotions are involved and their is committment, future etc. The other thakurs at the sardhakai see bednis as for one purpose only - a physical relationship and when they are bored move on. Those thakurs would never leave their wifes for a bedni. That still does take away the fact that she let Adi do it and the impact on Amu would be as devastating as on Reva.

Oh I agree, but I first thought you were talking about the romance angle, and that's why you wanted a younger actor. I meant to say that he is supposed to be this old jackass. But afterwards, as I just came back to this topic to read the replies, I understood why you wanted a younger actor. It would've been more dynamic and also with a younger actor, it's easier to show the flashbacks.
