This is an open ended question which I stressed earlier, needs to be addressed. Writers need to tell audience what , when and how it all went wrong with Reva. The character sketches are half baked for all the actors in the show.

It wasn't her parents but Vikram's sister (Jiji) who got him married to Reva. In India it is the custom that the elders meet the girl and approve of her for the marriage, surprising Jiji did not notice her insanity (though Reva appears loud but not insane many a times) only a person living with her day in and day out would realise the extent of her insanity.

What surprises me is that Jiji could not tolerate Reva continously asking her about her baby so takes her to the hospital and tells the doc to tell Reva everything is ok, but expects Vikram to remain true to her for the rest of his life, what Jiji could not tolerate for a few hours Vikram should tolerate for the rest of his life.

As per Vikram, she was always insane, that is what he discovered after marriage. This was ample enough for him to seek divorce from her on the grounds of fraud committed against him in the name of marriage.But he put up with her for so many years.. Why? Reva even got pregnant with his child.How was it possible with a woman totally insane right from the day one of marriage?

Aditya never knew earlier that his mami was suffering from some mental disorder but Amrita seems to know 😕???

Dhanuma tells Gulabia that Reva is the worst wife one can ever have but on the other hand requests Vikram not to go ahead with Sugni since that would be unjust to Reva. Also she has stated that Reva can be cured fully.

Vikram's sister has conceded that his marriage had not been a happy one...

Reva can paint nicely, knows how to arrange pooja articles and appears in OK state of mind to me at times which shows that she is not that much insane and that her disorder can be cured.

Atleast writers can tell what exactly is the name of that psychological disorder she is suffering from?

@ Sweet_Krishna I agree that on Reva side she must have some family member to finalize the marriage. Unless jiji picked her up from the road side lol.

@ Laila ...we may not have a psychology degree,but we can spot inconsistency in a story, I don't think the writers thought the audience had a brain.!

Ohh yes Jiji can't stand Reva for more than a few hours but expects her brother to stay with her, get abused by her, any person who hits another person with a vase on his head is abusive , mad or not, and be happy about it...! On grounds of HUMANITY?? Oh please how much more human you want the man to be, he is taking care of her in all the ways he can think off, what else you want his head on a platter?

Yes Reva's parents should be shown to explain her mental illness but our CVs are trying to project the baby angle as the coz for mental illness believing we will forget the conversations with Jiji, Amrita & Dhanuma. They are trying to make Vikram negative but the viewers find everyone else negative except Vikram.

Aditya Sugni fans and the new viewers are relishing in this...and the writers are trying hard to erase the TVS and story we knew and bringing a whole new show to us. That works well with an unsophisticated, passive, illiterate and, I hate to say, ignorance audience. PSH appealed to a more intelligent group of fans...and they tried to pull one over on us and it didn't work. The ratings have dropped .6...if all goes well, they could fall further next week.
