Sugni is in love...she never fell head over heels for TVS; she grew to respect and admire him and through that she fell in love with him. TVS is indeed an amazing person who has demonstrated so much in his character that makes us all love him. He's admirable, loyal, respectful. His love for his genuine and he has shown this to her a number of times.
For Sugni this is her first love and since she KNOWS the person and loves what she sees, you cannot question this love she has for him. We have seen so many dramas where our leads hardly know the person and have fallen in love with them. Some of these leads are mistreated, degrated and even slapped but because they are married, they are now "in love." The writers of this show have given us considerable justification for Sugni to love TVS...his words which to me mean his personality. He's funny, charming, caring, delightful, and he has treated Sugni with utmost respect.
For her to be referred to as a teenager blinded in love would be false. Sugni likes to be with TVS...a stronger storyline is one where Sugni volunteers to have her Sardakai done in order to please her family and be with TVS. Now, whether she sleeps with him is another story but for someone who is in love to agree to something like this would, to me, give more depth to this story.
As TVS concubine, does she move into the house? Does she live from a far etc...
And, since TVS has no love for his wife, what role does she play here? I think it would be for a far more interesting show...
In Jane Eyre, Jane could not love anyone else other than Mr. Rochester...even after the betrayal she was offered marriage to her cousin whom she refused...she could not fathom herself to be with anyone else and when she was offered the proposal, she heard Mr. Rochester's voice calling for her...at that point she ran to him. No matter how much she tried to surpress her feelings of love for him, she could not and she suffered in anguish to be without him. I hope we get to see some of this in PSH...

Yes Laila, i'm in total agreement with you. If Sugni cannot be married to Vikram for any reason, i'd like her to demonstrate how deeply she loves him by agreeing to the sardarkai. Since she's ready to give up her life for him, she should be willing to do sardarkai. I know many fans may not like this idea, but think about it, it's better to have Sugni as TVS's concubine so that our jodi can be together. I don't want any separation of Sugvi. Afterall this show is about sardarkai custom of Bedni, CVs should show that. Later, after the divorce, Vik and Sugni will get legally married and together, will help other bednis fight for their rights in the community.

Sara, what if Riva doesn't want to divorce him? In most countries, if one party does not consent to divorce, then both parties have to serve a waiting period of 2 or 3 years before the divorce is approved by law. What does Sugni do in the meantime? whatever happens, i don't want her to leave the village. No separation please.

What about Riva's photo? Why does Vikram keep their wedding photo in his bedroom? Especially if he doesn't love her anymore.

Well guys if the "teej" wedding happens then Sugni will in essence become what she was against all along a takurs "bedini"...the only difference will be that this thakur dose love her.
But will she want to sacrifice her core principles for the man she loves...? I love them both and I will be estatic if they get married...but let's not forget the original purpose of the show was the life of a bedini, and Sugni wanting a respectable life!
She should realise she dose have a bit off power over him, and demand that he get a divorce befor she marries him! even if she has to wait a few years!

Totally agree; I would much rather a Sugni agree to this arrangement than one who would be defiant. I think adds so much more to the story...but it is really up to the CVs what they want to do in the end...it is their show...what you propose will give this show a run of another six months or more...
