So, from reading all the comments and articles, i am going to take a stab at what I think the writers are going to do right now:
TVS arrived back to the village for an ulterior motive and that was to take revenge on TJS. He's had a conflict with him that does go back quite a while. We are not clear as to why he left but what we do know that there was some conflict between his chacha and TJS. This conflict was probably attributed to his poor treatmnet of TJS sister (wife of TVS chacha). I am wondering, did chacha also have a mistress just like TVS brother-in-law?
Noting that his sister paid a heavy price because of her "souten" and that he family are Takhurs and do not look fondly on them...along comes Sugni. This really has thrown a curve ball for TVS. Probably deep inside a good person, but in reality still a Takhur who is now smitten by a young and pretty girl (aren't we all). His desire to get back at TJS also takes on the role of becoming a "savior" of these forsaken women - trying to show he's a virtuous guy and in doing so, when over the "hearts and minds" of people and in the ultimate showdown with TJS at the time of the election.
In the meantime, he is "using" Sugni as his social cause and example of what he's going to do for the community while all along he's seriously interested in her. However, whether the writers have concluded whether Sugni will give just her heart or both her heart and her body to TVS before marriage, is not clear. And, whether they want to show him with a wife is still possible - though not a wise move at this stage.., ultimately, TVS will do as Gulabiya says and he will not honor Sugni and make her his wife.
Just as Aditya said, Bedini women do not have a place in the house as a wife. And this is going to be a big turning point of betrayal for Sugni. Will she remain silent or tear the house and world a part for this ultimate betrayal (that will be interesting to watch) and who will be her ally. A vengence against TVS for forsaking her as a lover and then her TJS for forsaking her as a father would be interesting to watch. One part of this vengence would be destroying the Bedini practice...something that TJS wants to keep and TVS doesn't particularly care about unless he can use them for his purpose.
If anything, Aditya could end up becoming her support but not her lover...too gross and no chemistry.
...Now, how close is this to the storyline...I do not know... 😃
