The highlight of yesterday's epi was Abeer's promise to Suman and bua, that he will never leave Meher. He will share her burdens and will be always there for her in her time of need. Yes that proposal was beautiful. And who wouldnt fall for a boy who comes and asks their daughter's hand directly to the mom and bua. Even bua had liked Abeer. Meher had said yes with their permission.
But then that promise broke. Abeer somewhere along the journey left her alone and now though not intended because of him she is battling life and death. Yes everything Abeer did was with good faith, good intention but when circumstances demanded him to stand up Abeer 8 years ago didnt had it in him to own up, which Abeer has now. Yes he told sorry. He said he is responsible. It was a good thing that the promise was told in yesterday's epi.
On a side note I would say where the problem happened according to me.Abeer went and proposed Meher at his home. He shouldnt have done that. He should have told his family and should have made Madhavi go with Shagun for Meher's hand. Even if Abeer didnt do it Suman should have told him they dont mind the rishta, but has he asked his family what they think about Meher and before allowing him to give ring to Meher, should have made him bring his family. Because a girl's respect in the family she is going depends a lot on how that family perceives the relationship. Because a woman doesnt enter the family just as a wife but as a bahu, bhabi also. So to get respect in every role her family has to ensure she is send right way from her home. And the boy also has to ensure that the woman he loves is bought to his home with all the respect.
Look at what happened at Abeer's place. Kuber dissatisfied. Taiji seems to be fine, till she hears Bhopal and there seems to be some fb there for taiji, because of which she is Meher's dushman. Also see the way KM cringes when Shyam's name is taken.See being lower middle class is fine, but Shyam has deprived them of a honorable living with his antics.
All in all it was a nice epi. A real realization for Abeer on how his actions are affecting others
