To Make Her Smile

Part 1

Ever since the news of Tunnu's gambling habits broke in, there'd been a tense environment enveloping the household. And it wasn't hard to see that she's the one that'd been the most affected.

Because now it was the middle of the night, and she was sitting there on the edge of the sofa, letting her emotions out to the one person she trusted the most.

She'd been crying to him for the past half an hour, and he saw no signs of her stopping anytime soon.

"Ek baar bhi uski family ki kadr nahi kari? Socha bhi nahi what we would've thought? How this would make us feel? Abeer ek baar bhi nahin socha usne?"

This sudden sense of apnapaan he felt from her, this demanding comfort and answers from him like he was someone important...it made him want to believe. It made him want to move heaven and earth to get her to stop crying.

Meher's Abeer had already broken through the surface. And tonight, he'd make sure there were no more tears.

"Meher, please shh..." he tried but to no avail. That's it. It was time to pull out the age old Meher cure.

He threw her over his back, to which she was obviously surprised, and started heading for the door.

"Abeer!" She began wiping her tears as she was being led out the door, her voice started to regain control. "Abeer what are you doing! Let me go right now!" and then she realized he was heading towards the elevator. "Sab neighbors so rahe hai Abeer! Ye tum--"

"And if you want to keep it like that, I 'd suggest ki tum chillana band karo. But then again, I really don't mind either way, jaag jaye toh jaagne do..." he said nonchalantly as he smiled very knowingly with Meher still hung over his back.

Finally they were in the grassy streets just outside of her apartment complex, and it was there that he finally let her down. "Abeer what in god's name is the meaning of thi--"

"Shh..." he placed a finger on her lips and pulled her close. She closed her eyes to which he moved away, silently smiling. Finally she heard,

"Main koi aisa geet gaaon?"

The song is "Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaaon" from Yes Boss, is a beautiful song and the way Abeer's been acting lately for Meher, this is the first song that came to mind when I thought of him <3

This is really sweet...!!! Meher finding comfort with abeer... Her abeer. Her shoulder to cry on... How cute is that...!! 😃

Meher's abeer is back n he will make his meher smile at any cost... 😊

He puts her on his shoulder and takes her down. Just like their first meeting, when he threw her on his shoulder like a towel... Can't help but think of the holi sequence again..!! 😃

Superb it is..!!! Waiting for next kriti...!!

this was adorable, Abeer trying to console his Meher so cute! Only he would put her on his back and tell her she can scream if she wants his not bothered lol .. Looking forward to next update & thanks for the PM :)

Kriti, this was too cute <3

I've always wanted to see Abeer serenading Meher and this was the perfect TS for that. I loved how you showed that Meher wasn'tafraid to tell Abeer herr problems and that sense of protection that he always gave her was there as well

The concept is so simple but yet one we all can never get tired of. Like a simple, read-in-the-sun type of thing. Like you know the type to fulfill that hopeless romantic person in you? You get what I mean? Ya feel me?🤣

Honestly, this guys just needs a freaking bahana to pick the woman up. I'm telling you he likes it. It fills up that caveman feeling, all these men have. Trust me, main batari hoon tumhe.

Haye main sadke jawan. Kina accha munda hain.

Seriously, perfect for these too. Especially the little bit in the end, you can almost visualize it, Abeer singing to his girl, trying to cheer her up. It just awakens the inner fan girl in me.😆

I didn't count the words. And neither am I going to okay stupid. Seriously, you and I both know this isn't me going overboard. Lol I was trying to respect you're wishes and all since apparently when your friends, you're supposed to do dumb things like that😆😆

But anyways, good job. It was short, sweet and simple. Really it looks so effortlessly perfect. ❤️
