I love office romance 😉 so MehBeer in office would be a treat to watch. Too bad we wouldn't see it anytime soon😭Originally posted by: malikakas
Aww so sweet.. Abeer is so adorable-- he just wanted to get married right away again and Meher holding him off. She wants to keep everything between the two of them.
I would love it if they took the show this way. Clandestine office romances are always fun! And in their office it would be hilarious. They would have to keep up the pretence of fighting so no one would know. 😆
ishana...i loved the title☺️ i see the title i couldnt stop myself from reading n office romance is awesome..m glad meher decided nt to marry as of now... n abeer is still teh same always in a hurry to marry😆 seems like she is pregnant,..pretty interesting abt how they will hide it n moreover abeer's care fr meher in office at home will be a treat ..Abeer life will circle around Meher n his Baby ☺️ do update soon and pm me plss 😳

Chapter 2
"Meher!" Abeer knocked on the door for the fifteenth time.
"Are you okay? What happened?"
"I'm fine. Just a little upset stomach." Meher yelled back from behind the door.
She washed her face and gargled some water before heading back out to a distressed, worried looking Abeer.
"I'm fine." She said reassuring him.
"No you're not! You never get sick that easily!"
"Abeer, calm down. I'm fine. I probably ate something bad."
"We ate the same food Meher."
"Ya, but I've been feeling sick since morni""
Meher halted and realized what she said. Oh lord. Abeer would definitely drag her to the doctor for such a small concern. He was sometimes cute when he cared for her, but sometimes too over-the-top. She remembered one monsoon, they had stayed out too much, romancing in the rain which resulted in both of them getting sick, but Abeer doting over her rather than taking concern over his own health. She was jolted out of her memory when Abeer practically started yelling at her to make an appointment with the doctor and God knows, there was not a person more stubborn than her Abeer.
"Hello, Dr.Neha?" Meher asked irritably on the phone.
"Can I schedule an appointment?"
"What's wrong Meher?"
"Actually...um... I haven't been feeling well. Uh upset stomach, I believe. Lots of nausea...nothing really bad." Meher said looking angrily at Abeer for making her do this.
"Meher, when was your last monthly?"
"What?!" Meher asked trying to remain calm infront on Abeer, who thankfully couldn't hear Dr.Neha.
"Um...in June."
"Did you take a pregnancy test?"
Meher's eyes widened. Pregnancy? What? No. I can't...That's insane. I can't...have kids.
"Um, no, that's not possible." Meher said, still trying to maintain her calm.
"What's not possible?" Abeer mouth-worded to her in an angry expression.
Meher angrily shush-ed him.
"Are you active?"
"Uh...yes, but I can't, it's not possible. I was told I couldn't. Remember last time." Meher whispered.
"Take one today and call me back. Come tomorrow at 3:00 and we will run a test."
Meher's heart started beating faster. All those memories came flooding back like a hurricane.
"Are you happy? You can leave now!" Meher rudely said to Abeer before rushing out of her cabin and eventually out of the office without letting a single soul see her. She raced back home with the fear of the doctor's words. Ignoring her mother's questions she ran up to her room and bolted the door before falling on her bed.
Our relationship is over, Abeer. Don't ever show me your face again.
Congratulations, Meher. You're three months pregnant.
We couldn't save the baby.
You may not be able to naturally conceive again.
The memories flooded Meher's mind like a cinema reel. The happiness she had of having a baby. Her baby. The one thing that would fill her barren life with color. How that happiness was brutally snatched from her hand in a few seconds. The pain. The pain of knowing she would never have a baby to call hers. She remembered when Abeer and her were engaged, they had a party in which her cousins came. She remembered her niece, who was just a baby, taking an instant liking to Abeer. She remembered how happy he looked when he held her and in that moment she knew Abeer would make a great father. She remembered trying to call Abeer, knowing he would be just as happy as she was. That he would put their misunderstandings aside and they would become a family again. Including a mini-Abeer or mini-Meher this time. She unfortunately also remembered how he never gave her a chance to tell him that she was carrying their baby. Never did he give her a chance to cry on his shoulder when she lost their baby. Never did he once reassure her everything would be all right.
Meher walked to a pharmacy nearby their building complex and picked up the dreaded pregnancy tester. Her mom had gone out, Tunnu was out with his friends and her Bua was fortunately in Delhi for the next week. So nobody would question her whereabouts. She came back home only to find her mother back and in order to not create suspicion, she spent the rest of the day with her cooking. She told her mother that she wasn't feeling good in order to deviate her from her rude behavior earlier. The last thing she needed anyone knowing was that she was still with Abeer- she knew her mother would love to hear it. But she also knew her mother would insist on marriage...again.
Retiring off to bed much earlier that night, she held the tester in her hand as if it was a disease. She made sure no one was awake. Following all the instructions on the back of package, she let it sit on the counter for 15 minutes as instructed. She paced around the room, tried to calm herself by drinking some water. Tried to convince every atom in her soul that it couldn't be possible. She couldn't be pregnant...again. She wasn't even married. And what if Abeer didn't want the baby? How would he react?
Meher approached the tester and the floor had slipped beneath her as she read the double lines. Positive.
Pregnancy. Positive. Double lines. Baby. Abeer's baby...again.
It can be wrong,na? Meher thought to herself. Yeah, it could be wrong. Sometimes they could be wrong. Yes. These tests aren't always correct. I shouldn't tell Abeer. What if it brings up the past again? And- and what if it's not accurate?
She insanely laughed to herself. I'm going crazy. There's no way, I could be pregnant. This test has to be wrong.
"And what if you are?" The consciousness inside her spoke.
"Will you deprive Abeer of his happiness twice?"
Meher put her emotions aside and did what was rational. She grabbed her phone, which she didn't realize was off and turned it on to see 25 missed calls from Abeer. She realized how worried he must've been when she stormed out like that. She quickly dialed his number and before a second ring could occur, he answered.
"Abeer?"
"Meher, are you okay? What happened? Why were you so upset? What did the doctor say?" Abeer said, throwing a hurricane of questions at her.
She paused silently and took a breath.
"Abeer..."
"I know it's midnight, but I need you."
