I think,she didn't say something she is not on VT. That is more important than what she is hiding. There must be a personal reason which I don't think is a big of a deal to reveal.Playing a role in Tv could have been her exploration of her hobby. Who do not want to be in films or movies? She can not call herself an actress if she hasn't established her name as a perfossional Bollywood actress. It could have been something which has come in her lap by accident.Even she is a professionally actress, she has full right to marry.
Personally, I don't understand people keep saying her intention is in Bollywood because she played in a few roles in TV. For example, if she had said, "I am an actress" in her VT, everyone is going to make fun by saying she has done only one movie and brags about being actress...It is going to be the same thing.
If you visit Bangkok doesn't mean you have seen whole world and you can not tell others "I am a traveller." Just because person knows how to cut the wood deosn't make that person a Carpenter.
I think how Puja has maintained her balance is her personality and her choice. She is not going ga ga over anybody. So Puja is the best now and later.....
