Only by having an Indian name, surname and watching Indian reality shows does not make anyone Indian. Strange that such people give sermons on Indian sanskars😆😆 BTW, even if an Indian lives anywhere on planet earth they will never call her nation as 'screwed up'😳

when a girl is married into a family she lives with them and becomes a member of that parivaar therefore she along with other members does have responsibility of ensuring the family stays together as a a woman is seen as the core of the house who can either make it swarg (heavan) or narak (hell)

Umm..my word of advice, it's no use arguing with this particular member, your owrds will be twisted around to make you look like a bigot/orthodoxperson/ anti women, etc, etc.....just a friendly suggestion....

Some people here, think Indians are a bunch of bigots, who expect their women to be slaves, and only punjabi/sikh families know how to respect women.....rest of India, is screwed up i guess .......any sanskars we talk about have to be some outdated and regressive , coz we revere the elderly, not threat them like equals like they do in the west......

**Viewbie's note:

Why always a good and healthy debate topic turns into a war zone ??..I don't understand what India as a country has to do with Gurpreet and Yash's mom issue..try to understand its just a reality show where many things might be staged...I said this earlier also try to stick to the topic instead of bringing other issues like India as a country or even mentioning about other religions/cultures which I just saw in another thread..these religious issues r very delicate and might hurt the sentiments of many members out here..so from now on anyone who comments on Indian cultures will get a warning for going out of topic because I don't think this reality show has anything to do with our nation or its culture..its simply a marriage related reality show..

@April2007:Please try to stick to the main discussion because sometimes these religious issues and Indian values/culture related comments might hurt the sentiments of other members and we need to respect that being Indian ourselves...I hope u understand...next time if u repeat the same thing I will be left with no option but to increase your WL..

Already this discussion has gone for 8 pages.don't think anything else is there to discuss..so closing it...
