Sushant to attend IPL matches

Sushant Singh Rajput who was spotted on the stands at Wankhede over the weekend, will be seen cheering for some more cricket matches in the near future. Since the actor is currently gearing up to play Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a biopic to be directed by Neeraj Pandey, he has been instructed by the director to attend as many matches as he can. "Though he is mid-way through his preparations, an important aspect of his homework involves observing the Indian team's skipper. He has to be able to have the same body-language under various situations so he is currently watching cricket matches. With IPL right now, he will be seen attending a lot of Chennai Super Kings matches as Dhoni plays for the Chennai franchise," a source reveals.

Earlier we had reported that Sushant Singh Rajput would soon be seen essaying the role of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. Later we also gave surfers a look at the poster of the film along with Sushant's look as Dhoni. Now we hear that mega production house Fox Star Studio have also come on board to co-produce the film.

Confirming the same Shikha Kapur, Senior Vice President Marketing at Fox says, "Yes, Fox will be co-producing the Dhoni biopic and we will also be distributing the film worldwide." Apart from this, another aspect of the deal we hear is that Fox will be responsible for branding and association deals for the movie.

MS Dhoni - The Untold Story is being directed by Neeraj Pandey, however details of the rest of the cast are being kept under wraps.
