CVs have done a lot of character butchering, that's for sure. They shouldn't have screwed up Naren's character and made Ankita's life a misery. It was too much to bear.

But if this is definite then all the very best to the cast for the future.

I agree, the biggest mistake was to change Naren's character from an adorable sweet caring man into an uncaring insensitive person who gave no consideration for Ankita despite knowing that she saved his life ..
His character turned so nasty that the show lost it's charm and became unbearable to watch ...

After a good run of 5 years the show will now come to an end . Maybe it would have been liked more if Naren had remained a good person and the focus was kept on his relationship with Ankita .

Exactly. The complete transformation of Naren's character was a big mistake indeed. It really annoyed me because I really warmed to Naren...he was so sweet and innocent. And his relationship with Ankita was just as sweet and innocent as he was.

Looks like the CVs are trying to redeem Naren since the show is wrapping up but it is happening so fast. Writers should not have crossed the limit with his character...a level of decency should have been maintained. Instead, Naren was turned into a selfish man.

But I am really curious to know how this whole Ankita-Naren-Pari and Ranvijay storyline will shape up because there isn't much time left. But whatever happens, the show has been on for 5 years and regardless of debate as to whether it should have stayed on for so long, it will always be considered as one of Ekta's biggest shows.

@bold: my sentiments exactly :)

So it's more or less confirmed now? Oh well, all good things come to an end, and no matter what, PR has had a fantastic run, will be counted as one of Ekta and Zee's most successful shows and has made a place for itself in the audience's minds and television history. I'm okay if the channel decide to pull a plug on it now- it's not a sudden abrupt ending and they gave due time and respect to the show I think. The storyline could have been better as it had a lot of potential when the third leap took place, but chalo koi baat nahi.

I hope they bring back all the actors of the show for the last episode- show a bit of the making of the show, talk about their experience, special moments, etc. Of course, we'll have offscreen SBS-SBB segments doing all of that, but if it's made by the PH guys themselves it would be better made as they would have access to a lot of older scenes and audition tapes etc. and most of the actors would also agree to speak for the special episode if the PH shoots the episode. Plus I hope they have a farewell party and we get to see some of the crazy dancing! :D

The show has given a lot to everyone- Zee, Ekta, all the actors- everyone has gained from it. It must be special for everyone- so it deserves a befitting ending and goodbye. They should just celebrate they were part of this very successful show.

We too will have a party on the forum! :D After all, it has been a long journey for all of us as well! So many wonderful moments, so many new friends made! <3 :*

That would be really nice. Would love to hear all the actors who have been involved in the show share their experience and also from the people who worked behind the camera.

Will really miss watching Ankita everyday. Hope that she comes back after a well-deserved break to entertain us again. I think its a nice time for her to get married.
All my best wishes to her and other members of PR!

All the best to the cast and crew, present and past, if the news is true

This was a forum I was so active in and gave me a couple I love dearly, AshVik, so PR will be special despite the very evident frustrations with the writing!

I'd love to see an all cast finale, kinda like Kasam Se, that had Prachi and Gurdeep both as well as all the other members.

Amen!
I pray it's true this time.
It's way past "about time".
PR was spoiled years ago, beyond repair.

I'm happy for Ankita.
She can now calmly plan her wedding, and after a break, do something new.
All the best for her future, as well as all those connected to this show.
I'm sure they will enjoy a new challenge.

All the best to all the actors and actress in this show.

PR gave many nice characters, variety of emotions. It is good to end now as it reached a saturation point.

Main characters in this show are sticking with this show for 5 years. it will be good for them to take new project with different style.
