Ankita Lokhande, the protagonist of TV show PavitraRishta, was rushed to a hospital in Andheri over the weekend after she complained of severe stomach pain.

She was treated for appendicitis and has now been advised bed rest for 10 days. Since Ankita plays a double role in her show, makers are now in the process of introducing an alternative track.

Good thing she was hospitalised and had the operation in time .This happened at the weekend , maybe that is why Ankita was missing in the show
