Today's episode was pretty amusing to watch. I couldn't help but make this post after watching the precap. Pari yells out to Naren that Aashi is not his child when he says that she is his life and can destroy companies to give more time to her.
The ironic part is that Pari's mother was also adopted, she isn't the biological child of Archana either. Pari, who considers to have a right on the Deshmukh family is not their grand-daughter biologically either. Yet, here she is not understanding the feelings and emotions of the child. She has a sense of resentment towards the innocent girl and feels angry when Naren gives her more importance. What surprises me though is that she can't connect with Aashi. She grew up looking at the bond of Archana and Purvi, so pure and special yet is unable to take away any sort of element from it.

In the precap she tells Naren that he is running away from responsibility when in fact she is running away from the responsibilities of Aashi. When you become the guardian of a child you are responsible for it. Here Pari is scolding the girl like she is an eighteen year old adult touching her precious make up. I understand that she wants more discipline but the way to execute the discipline is wrong. There is no denying that my mother has yelled and sometimes gave a good beating when I was not behaving but there was also love that she presented afterwards. The love that never made me question her actions towards discipline. Pari is doing neither, in fact, she will make Aashi feel insecure and become the type of daughter who is always trying to impress her mother.

Also, something else surprised me. Pari grew up without the presence of Arjun, without a father. She obviously missed her father despite hating him, so it's also obvious that when thinking of the future she wanted a husband who wouldn't abandon her or her child. To have a husband who was a dutiful father. Naren is a dutiful father, if not a good businessman or husband and she still can not appreciate that.

The only thing I dread is what Pari will do to Aashi the day she finds out that she is Ankita's child.
On a side note, it is sad that they are turning Pari into a negative character to reunite Naren-Ankita ultimately. This does not (USUALLY) happen in the 21st century, people who can not have children are usually the ones who value them the most. Pari should have been a character who should have loved Aashi more than anyone else because she was filled with the void of being called a mother. On one hand Ekta has a show like YHM where they show progressive thinking and on the other hand they have PR where it's a circle of madness. Also, Ankita-Ranvijay should be the end game considering she would be much happier there practically. I wanted to smack the TV when they showed Anki remembering Naren, grrr...are there women like her these days? Also, what about the after effects on Vaishnavy after she leaves?

Anyway, that was my little rant on today. My opinion solely!

Pari was always a negative person who held on to her grudges but her being nasty to Ashi is shocking ..I guess she just cannot see Naren being so close to another child when her own baby is no more ...she still has not forgotten about the accident .
Archana should remind her that Paurvi was also adopted and was so much loved by her mother ..

I am also getting fed up of Ankita talking about Naren ..If a man treats you this bad and you are still talking about him then you are a loser and nothing else ..

I'm annoyed too. They are making Pari evil just so the audience feels bad for Naren and accepts a reunion with Ankita. Pari and Naren should work on their relationship. It's unbelievable that such a lovey-dovey couple that went through so much to get together fell apart so quickly.

Naren can't be forgiven so easily, he doesn't deserve Ankita. Ankita needs to stop moping and move on in her life. I hope she doesn't break the hearts of Ranvijay and Vaishnavi along with the family who cared for her so much when even her own relatives didn't. She has spent 5+ years with them and only 7-8 months with Naren. Ranvijay's family should hold more value to her.

I'm really disappointed they are making Ankita such an emotionally weak fool still pining for the love of her ex-husband married to her sister. They've ruined Pari's character and made her a selfish, heartless, brat even though she was much more caring about her family earlier. They are making Naren seem so innocent as though he's the victim. They barely show Ranvijay, who is supposed to be a parallel lead.

great topic!

It is very ironic yet it makes NO SENSE whatsoever.

As you posted, Pari who was so devastated after losing her unborn should have been shown loving the child the most. Pari went thru so many treatments to have a child! I can understand if Pari behaved that way towards the child if she knew it was Anken child - but she doesn't right now right? It just doesn't make any sense.

Then Pari was shown as the ultimate love of Naren. And Pari lost her sense of self and became isolated after falling in love with Naren. So why are they behaving like this now?

If their love was so true - that Ankita's sindoor fell to Pari in that mandir scene - then why are Paren falling apart now?

Why is Pari being portrayed so negatively? Is it really to justify the Anken reunion? That's sad.

If Anken were the end result - why even let Pari marry Naren?

I hope the actress quits. Such a negative turn that lacks sense is not worth playing imo.

Very well said! I was considering making a post myself about Pari's character progression but I'll just piggy back on what you've stated.
To be completely honest Pari's character was not well defined. When her character was introduced she was shown to be a person who grew up hating her father (abandonment issues) loves her mom dearly but was either not made aware of her parents history or just chose to over look the facts. She wasn't fun loving just one track - business minded. She was working for her grand-father - Manav's business. It almost seemed like she threw herself into work to keep her mind off of everything else. In a sense her personality type needs something to be fixated on that she can submerge herself in.
Then we find out that she had a love connection in London but assumes that her lover ditched her (further abandonment issues) which made her even more cold and standoff-ish. That part is consistent - her love connection with Aman/Naren was not well defined by either party - we don't know what was the basis of their love - how they feel in love - what really bound them and is it really love or attraction/infatuation?
The common theme we see is that Pari uses her work as a way to cope - be it coping with abandonment issues. coping with the fact that she will not be able to carry a child etc.
What I don't like or can't understand is - the above mentioned is human - humans react to different circumstances differently and cope differently. That part is ok - what is not ok is why are they showing Pari in such negative light? Pari can have all these issues and still be a caring mom. ESPECIALLY since they have a little girl now, she can't be a mother biologically AND her mother was Adopted.
I liked her when she was scheduled to marry Shekhar - Pari had her issues but she didn't want to take on more bad karma by getting in the way of Ankita and Naren and suddenly after she was misinformed that Ankita married Naren only for money she started to hate Ankita. Really??? Ankita saved his life!
Its not necessary to show Pari as a bad person but CVs apparently have to to justify why Ankita and Naren should be together. I agree that Ankita loves Naren dearly but Naren only loved his Ahana - Ankita and Naren getting back together is a different discussion but Pari doesn't need to be negative to enable that to happen.

what i dont understand is why is everyone saying constantly that pari's character has changed and she has become more selfish and negative. in fact since the day her character is introduced, i have not seen a single positive characteristic in her. she hated arjun coz of her own misunderstandings why she never bothered to clear up till pia showed up and cleared it for her. she hated her own father for no reason. what happened with purvi was something between a husband and a wife (even though that was totally a misunderstanding and arjun was not at fault). arjun never stopped loving pari and she knew that yet she never bothered abt it. her treatment towards mansi and prashant shows just how shallow she is and her behavior and remarks abt ankita in her absence shows how cheap her mentality is. lol after ankita's last meet with her, even a dumbo can put 2 and 2 together and figure out the real story between ankita and naren and yet she conveniently chose to not understand and later on blamed ankita for her baby loss. how pathetic is that?
what i m trying to say is that the the progression of her character started from bitter to borderline negative so i m not at all surprised that she turned out to be this.

so far ankita is concerned, i dont consider her pathetic for loving naren so much even now. it was her own choice not to force herself in naren's life and despite of how selfish and disgusting naren has been with her, she chooses to remember her first love with optimistic view. why is that so pathetic? even though naren does not have his memories, his simple, loving and caring nature during that time is coming out for ashi so i dont mind a reunion but not before a lot of pain, regret and punishment for naren for what he did to ankita. he needs to punish rushali for her deeds esp for the baby theft.

right now i m afraid for poor ashi. the way pari treats her is heartbreaking. i m so waiting for the day naren and ankita gets to know that ashi is their baby and m also waiting for pari's reaction.

Nice topic, the way Pari is treating Ashi is wrong, Ashi is only 5 years old, it kind of reminds me of the way Vaishu(from the first generation) used to treat Varun, she may never be nice to Ashi but its her character thats been being made to look bad, she all of a sudden took a big turn ever since she lost her baby, Pari was never like this before, she was a nice person but very focused on work. Naren is a good father to Ashi but that doesnt take away all the pain he gave to Ankita, Paris character was ruined only to make Naren look good. A lot of the blame goes to only Purvi and Arjun for the way Pari has turned out, not Pari herself. Arjun totally abandoned both his daughters(Pari and Pia, though he did care for Pari some but he never showed any care for Pia at all) Ovi raised Pia by herself and she turned out to be very good but Arjun and Purvi couldnt have been worse parents, even in these 5 years they havent called Pari or even seemed to care that Pari lost her baby, Arjun and Purvi are the worst people ever.

Pia was raised by a single mother and she was the one who went through everything
Arjun remembered pari as his daughter but never missed pia
Yet pia did everything for them
Pari doesn't deserve any happiness 🤢
