I am very disappointed that Asha will not be in the Telly Calendar this year. Last year she managed with PR and NB6. The only excuse is its the same time she on the cruise. We better get segments from the ship to make up for the lack of her interview and photoshoot in jordan. Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasmaan (DJ's - A Creative Unit) has finally got its new male lead!! Entering opposite the beautiful Asha Negi will now be talented actor Kunal Verma.
Yes, it's official and the actor has begun shoot from today, as per credible sources!!
A source states, "Kunal will essay the character of Aryan who is a family friend to Suhana's (Asha Negi) new family. He will be the new lead on the show, and an interesting track has been churned for the viewers."
As we know, Kunal came into the limelight with Balaji Telefilms' Tujh Sang Preet Lagaai Sajna. He has also been part of shows like Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Naata Koi, Surya - The Super Cop, Havan, Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev.
Earlier, Kunal was shortlisted to play the lead in Zee TV's new offering, Jamai Raja, but Ravi Dubey went on to bag it.
When contacted, Kunal told Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, I am entering Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. However, I am busy shooting, I will call you."
We tried to get more information from Producer Deeya Singh, but did not get through to her.
Also, the channel spokesperson did not revert to our query.
