ACTRESS ASHA NEGI ENTERS EK MUTTHI AASMAN'

Popular serial actress Asha Negi will be seen making her comeback on Zee TV in a powerful character.

Having played the role of Purvi on Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta', Asha Negi received a lot of adulation from her fans worldwide. While her stint on the show ended a few months ago, she will soon return to TV as the female protagonist in Zee TV's Ek Mutthi Aasman'.

Undergoing certain track changes, Kalpi (played by Rachna Parulkar) and Raghav Singhania (played by Ashish Chowdhry) will be seen meeting with a car accident which has been plotted by Pooki (played by Shirina Singh). While Kalpi survives with burns on her face and a memory loss, she undergoes a plastic surgery. While Kalpi is blessed with a new life, Raghav dies on the spot and Pookhi ends up getting jailed for the crime she has committed. Coming back to life, Kalpi has a new face and a new name and playing the new Kalpi aka Suhana is Asha Negi.

Talking about her character, Asha said, "I'm glad to be back with my second stint on Zee TV. The character I play in the show is of Suhana. Suhana is a girl who has recently survived a huge car accident and has no recall of the past, owing to her memory loss. It's interesting how the makers of the show have charted out the transition in my character who was earlier Kalpi but post the accident starts her life with another family as Suhana. I am sure the audience is going to love the new track on the show and will enjoy watching my character."
