The Chawl - AGAIN!?!

Seriously, this is the height of stupidity to have the family once again live in the two-bedroom apartment in the chawl. I am simply speechless. What does Ekta think that people who are accustomed to living in Canada are ready to return to life in a place where there is no running water? A questionable indoor toilet and no electricity? Or at least minimal. And where is this whole family going to sleep? It was bad enough in the past when there were a handful of individuals and now it's a whole other story.

Ekta makes a mockery of individuals who live in a chawl. No-one in their right mind is running to live in one; if a person earns the kind of $$$ the Deshmukh's have done, then they would not be living in the place they are at or in the manner they are in..and to romanticize and glamorize it as something "wonderful" is an insult to those individuals who are forced to live this life out of no choice but their economical status.

Had the writers expanded the place to include additional rooms and upgraded it, then I could accept it...but this is stupid beyond belief.

no i happy they saved land , elctricity 😆 by staying chawal...they r novel😳

think if they will be make a big house according to their then think how much area they have to use...but they saved ...we know now how land r decreased day by day😆

if they will be stay in small house then automatically elctrical energy will be store bcz one ball is sufficient for small house...

ekta wants to give msg try to understand...but now i am confused for only one matter

I personally don't mind.

Nina and Gaurav don't have any connection with the chawl, and apparently, they look like they've never been to India and have always lived a cosy life. So their reaction is that of frustrated, annoyed and find itstupid.

However the rest of the clan is happy because they are emotionally attached to it. They were born and brought up there. They had their ups and downs in this chawl only. They want to relive these moments.

I dont think like they'll live forver there, just for a few days...

Deshmukh cartoons r completely crazy.
Or they r trying to be funny?

Sensible words like 'move on' and 'grow up' r not available in dictionary of even single person. The way there is no difference between behaviour of 5 years baby and 50 years oldy of that family same way 5 people were living in that chawl and now 50 people will live in same chawl.

Worried about chawl people. Their first reaction would be ' drama queens r back' lol.

I m sure they wont mind sleeping in bathroom and kitchen for the sake of fake family reunion. lol. And for them family reunion means chawl only.
