Did Asha Negi leave Pavitra Rishta coz of Ankita Lokhande??

here is a saying that no two women can get along well'. And this many a times holds good in this industry wherein there is a lot at stake for every known celebrity, when it comes to their shows doing well and they being accepted by the public.

A lot of factors such as a shift in paradigm and popularity might give rise to such tussles which might turn ugly after a given point of time!!

Well, not many know that two talented ladies Ankita Lokhande and Asha Negi who shared screen space in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV experienced the same when they met eye to eye on the sets of the show that catapulted both of them to fame.

So what are we arriving at?

Well, we have got to hear tales of Ankita and Asha's major tiffs on the sets of Pavitra Rishta, that left one and all in disarray.

A reliable source states that all began when the popularity of the younger generation stars of Pavitra Rishta, Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi took the viewers by surprise. The Jodi was so very well-accepted by the public (who were used to seeing Ankita and Sushant romance on-screen) that they managed to make a place in viewers' hearts in quick time. And this apparently did not go down well with Ankita.

Our source states, "Ankita always had problems with Asha and used to taunt her with girly' comments of how her beauty will always be above par to Asha's simple, down-to-earth appearance. All this resulted in Asha deciding to stay away from the good or bad' books of Ankita. When things went beyond a point, Asha simply refused to share screen space with Ankita, and in fact requested the creative team to make the possible changes in the track so that they are not required to shoot together."

And with the generation leap taking place, Rithvik who did not want to play a father on-screen, that too at a phase where his popularity rocketed sky-high decided to quit Pavitra Rishta. And Asha too put down her papers as it had become problematic for her to stay put on the sets. However, the creative team somehow convinced both Rithvik and Asha to carry on with the show even post the leap, till a point where they succeed in establishing the new characters. Rithvik and Asha did accept this, and stayed on for four months post which they bid adieu.

Accepted, that Ankita has always remained the star face' of Pavitra Rishta from the time of its inception. However, nobody can take away the credit that the chemistry of Rithvik and Asha created when the show went for its first generation leap. And most importantly, Asha (along with Rithvik) did manage to create a storm on the sets of Nach Baliye, by going on to win the trophy with her unassuming and smiling nature.

We tried contacting Ankita Lokhande to hear her side to this story, but she remained out of reach.

However, Asha did reply to our text message saying, "There is nothing like that, I am fond of Ankita. I think she is the prettiest actress on television. And she is not the reason for me quitting Pavitra Rishta."

We dropped a text message to Ekta Kapoor too, but did not get any revert till the time we filed the story.

Guess every person enjoys his/her share of limelight, and Ankita and Asha have equally got their due and recognition in the industry, courtesy Ekta's trendsetter Pavitra Rishta.

We simply hope both the ladies try to kiss and make-up' and forget the bygones.

Seeing tiffs between actors onscreen is a very common thing, but how often does the animosity pass off screen?

Pavitra Rishta's Ankita Lokhande-Sushant Singh Rajput and Hiten Tejwani have been a face of the Ekta Kapoor show for long. When the leap happened, Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani took over and the audience loved them. They became stars overnight. Obviously, the popularity didn't go down well with Ankita, so we hear. It seems Ms Lokhande often passed comments about how her beauty will always win over Asha's simple and down to earth looks. Now we don't believe everything ourkhabroo tells us, but it was evident that the two actors didn't see eye to eye.

According to a source, Ankita had a meeting with the head honchos of Balaji Telefilms demanding a better track for her character. The makers calmed the actor down and made plans to give Ankita a double role. The change in the script meant another major leap. Asha and Rithvik were not keen on aging onscreen and hence decided to bow out of the show.

The producers however, requested the couple to stay a bit longer until the other characters were established. Ankita finally had her way out and her demands were met. After six months, AshVikquit the show and moved on.

In spite of all the animosity between the two actors, Ms Negi maintains that Ankita and she always shared a cordial relationship and there was no bad air between them. Yes, we believe you!

Why suddenly so many articles against ankita?? 😕 Did Ankita really used to taunt Asha like that?? 😲

Always had a doubt that Ankita doesn't like Ashvik and had problem with their popularity since one of her interviews but these articles are kind of confirming that. Hope its not true but as they say there is no smoke without fire!!

To me it is quite evident that the original writers of the article, Tellychakkar, don't like Ankita. This is bcos the whole article is very one sided. The second article about Ankita where they termed negotiations as 'attention seeking' and drama (whereas Ankita has never shown any public outburst against anyone from the show or declared to quit in public) didn't even seem as if it was written by a professional journalist- there was SO MUCH of personal attacking. It seemed as if Ankita refused to give bytes or something and someone had ranted against her.

Anyways, we all know Ankita doesn't have the best relations with the press, who pick on her for everything, right from the saree she wears to her relations with her co-stars. I can just say, Ankita has been in PR since 5 years, there have been times when she and Sushant had NO SCENES for days as the track focussed on Varsha and Vaishali, but they were all friends. They are all still friends. I personally feel sad that any damn article about Ankita is believed so easily these days.

They were very unfair towards Ankita especially, but also negative articles for both girls.. It's just too bad Ekta couldn't have been more mature and handled the situation in a good way and all these articles wouldn't have happened. I like both of them and the whole thing is too bad...
