corner.
But before that, today is Rose
Day. People usually start their
relationship by giving roses to
their loved ones. They feel that
sending roses is one of the best
ways to express ones feelings of
love and affection for each other.
Varied colours of roses have
diverse significance. Generally, a
red rose symbolises desire and
passion, the yellow ones
represent friendship, pink stands
for love, gratitude and
appreciation, white signifies
purity and innocence, orange for
enthusiasm. Lastly a lavender
rose signifies love at first sight.
On this occasion of Rose Day (7
February 2014), we called up
some of our TV stars and asked
them who would they like to
offer roses among their friends
and companions in the fraternity
and which colour.
Vahbbiz Dorabjee: I would give
a red rose to my better half
Vivian (Dsena) and to my dad as
he is also a very important
person in my life. My yellow rose
will go to my lovely mom because
we are more of friends. At least I
make it a point to talk to her
three to four times a day. My
white rose should go to my
brother because in my entire
clan, he is the quietest and an
innocent guy. Orange will again
go to Vivian because he is a very
enthusiastic and adventurous
kind of a person. And lastly my
lavender rose will be dedicated
to my lovely cats as they are part
of my life.
Shaleen Malhotra: I would give
a red and a yellow rose to my
mom as she is the special person
and also a good friend at the
same time. The white rose will go
to my brother as he is very calm
and innocent kind of a person. If
possible I would dedicate my
pink rose to beautiful Sushmita
Sen while my lavender rose
should go to my fourth standard
class teacher. And lastly the
orange rose will go to myself and
my dad.
Asha Negi: Well do I need to say
to whom my red rose will go to?
Well it is of course Rithvik
(Dhanjani) and also Ram Kapoor
as he is my favourite actor and
inspiration. I have two sets of
yellow roses of which one will go
to my entire cast of Pavitra Rishta
while the other will go to
Shivangi (Ripudaman's
girlfriend). My white rose should
go to Vinod (Nach Baliye) as he is
a pure soul. Again the orange
one will go to Rithvik as he is
pack of energies. And lastly the
lavender and pink rose will go to
John Abraham.
Mohit Sehgal: Well I have already
given a bunch of red roses to
Sanaya (Irani). I have mostly
friends who are boys, so it is very
awkward to gift roses to them
(smiles). And I will again give the
orange rose to Sanaya as she is a
very enthusiastic person.
Charlie Chauhan: My red rose
goes undoubtedly to Kunwar
Amar. I have one more red rose
and that will go to Salman Khan. I
will give the yellow rose to my
bestie Macedon (D'mello). I have
two white roses one marked to
Sneha (Kapoor) and the other to
Alisha (Singh). While the pink
rose goes to Reyansh because I
am in love with Kunwar's
character, I will present the
orange one to myself.
Ravi Dubey: Well my red rose will
go to my better half Sargun
(Mehta). I don't believe in other
coloured roses. Instead, I would
rather call the close people and
wish them.
Shivin Narang: Red rose to mom,
yellow to Smriti Kalra, white to
Digangana (Suryavanshi), while
the pink and orange roses to me
