Actually some of the writers of the comments you disdain, however, are also victims of rape and/or abuse, and these people, for the same reasons, feel the opposite.

The reason for the difference i believe, is knowing what Ekta has done so many times with her shows and with this very subject. Her message has NEVER been the strength of the woman to overcome this event. As someone mentioned the most descriptive word, she has exploited this very real and terrible problem for the purpose of raising TRP's in her shows...basically, that means, for money and for her own dramatic ambitions. If this is not morally corrupt I don't know what is.

Silence is also wrong, but showing the rapist as just another thing that boys do and no big deal is what is the wrong message. So far this is all that Ekta has ever shown and why the outrage.

Obviously you yourself will not want this message to be the one given. If Ekta would ever change her strategy and do what you are hoping for ...that will be a whole new thing. We can always hope she will wake up...it would be a very remarkable turn around for her. Anything is possible i guess, but so far it's not looking good and i am not holding out any hope for that. I would like to be wrong.

I actually have the feeling in the end - in the flashbacks - we will see that Mansi wasn't raped. But..this makes the exploitation of this kind of behavior for business and drama every bit as bad.

lets come to archana and vandita. archana was well aware that vandita was being beaten up in her sasuraal and tortured like anything. yet she conveniently hided all the things from manav as she wanted manav's money and resources to be used only for the benefit of her own maiden family. when her own sister was in problem then she manipulated entire world to snatch away the rights of dharmesh's first wife but during the case of vandita she happily ignored. what will such a show have impact on the young generation !!

purvi very well knew that soham is mentally torturing gauri. he was a perfectly potential rapist for all the acts he had done and his wild obsession towards gauri. as a woman it was purvi's duty to punish soham for torturing another woman. but purvi being purvi obviously saw her own benefit and profit. if she punished soham then who would support her in her own kaands ? afterall soham was always the lender of last resort for purvi and by going against him , she was going to loose her own biggest support.

Mansi not wanting to tell anyone and giving Ankita kasam to keep it to herself and Ankita bigger fool as she is keeping it from Mansi's fianc Shashank who has every right to know.
