@pink: I take strong offense to that statement - what do you mean by what is wrong with Asha? And why should she spend even a penny on this show when Purvi's character is always miserable and inviting more hate on the forum?

I don't want her wasting any money on Purvi's look. And beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, so despite the dull white saree as you say, which I thought looked wonderful, Purvi still has many suitors, so more power to her!

The established actors versus relative newcomers debate can also be applied - and PR has been the most ignored show of Balaji. Just look at how much Ekta spends on Bade Achhe in terms of sets or looks.

And excuse you, but I'm not at all happy with how you've chosen to blame Asha and not the production house for how Purvi is dressed. Misdirection much?

What Asha deserves is a much better show with much better written character and all us fans hope she will get to play that in her next show, whenever that happens (hope soon!)

Another Y Asha need to more focus Purvi character. What this crappy PH doing her. Day by day, Night by Night She spent her valuable time but maximum scene was & is edited. Tis PH totally misuse Purvi/Asha popularity. All crap thing store only her & Arjun. All nonsense are limit. But Still what Asha doing is enough. I agree I hated the saree , and also I hated how the supposed stylist couldn't do anything new for her look As for Asha , I think it's her goodness she stayed back on this crap show to play a 42 year old she shouldn't have do spend her own money for wardrobe . That's not fair

Why Asha should be spending her money for this crap show? She don't needs to spend anything as its always the PH who provides actors with new dresses/costumes, its not the actors who need to buy their clothes for themselves. Asha looks gorgeous in every attire of hers, so she doesn't want any external appearance to exaggerate upon her beauty. Her simplicity is her real beauty, she is a beautiful incarnation of God and so, she don't need any extra thing to define her beauty.

With regards to yesterday's saree, it was very much in sync with Purvi's character. Her choices have always been simple: the simplicity Arjun felt so hard for.

Let's also have a little jog down the memory lane. Her dresses have always been simple. Even in the initial days when ARVI were fighting and fell in love eventually, she was shown wearing repetitive salwar kameezs. It wasn't that she could not buy new clothes for herself: she was a girl working in a senior post in an MNC and a billionaire's fiancee...

I'm sure she is a professional who knows when and where to open her mouth. Have we already forgotton how Ekta ruined TV careers of Rajeev Khandelwal and Pulkit Samrat for raising for making their voices heard?

Coming back to Purvi, dull or not... men fall hard for her. So simplicity must be quite BEAUTIFUL.

The anger is mis-directed at Asha. It should be on Balaji. No other serial I had a chance to see so far have their characters so pathetically dressed. I mentioned this before - I was seething in anger when I saw Asha as Purvi was made to wear a torn blouse that was tapped. SHAME on PH.

Whether Asha wants to wear her personal dresses for the show is her choice. We have seen in at least one occasion where she wore her own salwar as Purvi had to attend a marriage. However, it is appalling that the PH expects the actors to dress in their own clothes for the show. A simple question - doesn't the PH earn money for show and , a popular one at that?
