I think TM is being misunderstood here.

All TM is saying that purvi needs better dressing like Ankita & Ovi ..

Either she can start wearing her own clothes if they are better than what is provided by fekta's staff.

Sometimes it all depends on how one carries herself regardless of good or bad dresses.

I hope an reads this and asks cvs to dress purvi better especially throw away that HHS wig.

It's a little unbelievable how solely the production and writers are being blamed. If Asha wanted to take charge of her look she could have by now. Ankita started giving her input on her wardrobe after working on the show for just one year, so it is very much possible. (I am not comparing the actresses here, but their situations.)

If she doesn't want to wear anything else that is fine, but it is up to her. If she is okay with the substandard wardrobe, why would anyone else bother to change it for her? It's easier for everyone to just let it be. However, if she wants something nicer it could be easily accommodated. Balaji has warehouses full of clothes and jewelry.

The blame game doesn't make sense. It's not particularly anyone's fault that her look has ended up like this, but it is everyone's fault that it hasn't been changed, and Asha is included in that everyone.

I agree with the topic maker, she could do a lot better. Being approximately 40 does not equate to being boring.

How do we know that Asha didnt ask for better wardrobe? Just because they allowed Ankita to wear her own dresses, doesnt mean they will let Asha do the same!

Perhaps they dont let her wear better saris on purpose? Just like they give the worst tracks and dialogues to Arjun and Purvi, they give the worst saris and the most horrible wigs to Purvi!

Its a deliberate attempt to make her less attractive than she is! To make her look frumpy and older than 40...

After all Purvi has to be "in character" according to the CVs!

Im sure Asha doesnt like wearing those 3 horrible saris she has been wearing ever since she arrived in Mumbai after the leap...the green and blue (ugliest one), orange polka dot and the red and purple one!

Shes young and pretty and vivacious! They make her wear those same saris repeatedly on purpose!

If they want to make Purvi look sad and depressed and old-looking, they will tell her to wear those saris!

Asha wears beautiful costumes in NB6...she wears beautiful saris when she performs in other Zee shows like at Urmi's wedding in Doli Armaanon Ki...

So its obviously Balaji which is not letting her dress nicely in PR!

Ovi is supposed to be a fashionista so shes allowed to wear strappy blouses and transparent saris!

Archu wore fashionable saris after she reunited with Manav after the 18 yr leap. She was a rich guy's wife after all!

Purvi wore lovely new saris when she was married to Arjun! That was during the 2 months of episodes when they were together!

Now shes supposed to be a depressed, sad divorcee so shes forced to wear those ugly saris by PH...to be "in character"

Doesnt take rocket science to understand this!

Yes Pallavi one of my friend watched PR after watching NB6, she was in shock to see Purvi, I think PH is doing this by purpose with Arvi just to show them old nd miserable.

I just don't see how Asha is responsible for any of this.

I mean it is completely up to whoever dresses the characters to decide which actors wears what for their roles.

If it were up to the actors, then I'm sure lots of actors would be saying something about it and not just on this show. Look at Ankit Narang. Great actor but he has been written horribly for. Look at how they have him dress and his make up to make him appear old.

So I just don't think it's up to the actors to decide their costumes, look, and make up. I just think Ankita using her own clothes is an exception.
