All this is happening without her family fully knowing or advising her ( just remembered that they have no brains to give advise). She uses her brain and takes the decisions and falls flat on her face and then the whole Deshmukhs family is dragged making things worse.

But as far as giving advice, no one can give Purvi advice. She takes all important decisions on her own and sees herself as being in charge of setting things right (whatever it may mean or lead to).

From getting Arjun married to Ovi, to going to Kolkata and marrying Onir, to demanding the baby swap, to leaving Arjun, to going to Panchgani and interacting with Chadda, to meeting Rishabh Kapoor and accepting his deal - she takes all the decisions herself. She never sees the need to take anyone's advice. Not even her dear aai's.

A common feature among the heroines of a number of Indian shows! Gosh, can't they come up with something different?
