Shakti Arora is Veera's love interest

Sunday, Nov 17, 2013, 12:00 IST | Agency: DNA

Shakti Arora who was playing Dr Onir in Pavitra Rishta will soon be seen in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas-Veera post the 15-year leap. He will be introduced as a new character Karan, the love interest of Veera essayed by Digangana Suryavanshi. Says Shakti, "We will be shown to be studying together in Delhi. As of now there is no romantic track but I am sure eventually it will happen and Veera's brother Ranvi will try to create hurdles in our love story."

The actor who quit Pavitra Rishta after it took a leap, took up Veera basically because he will be playing his age. "In Pavitra Rishta, I was playing a very serious, mature person sporting specs. Also, I have done shows against a Marathi, Gujarati and Bengali backdrop. This is the first time I will be doing a serial with a Punjabi backdrop, which is what I am in real life," smiles Shakti. He will be shown as a charming guy with a sense of humour. "A typical Delhi dude, mastikhor aur jiske peeche ladkiyan bhagti hai," he grins. He starts shooting for the show in the coming
week.
