I think this thread is a little bit unkind. I would feel really bad if someone said that publicly about me and people discussed whether or not i was pretty.
I like the actress a lot , I think she is perfect for the role. I think she is very nice looking girl and a good actress.

I agree, naava!
I think Pari has rather striking features, has a lot of personality and strength in her visage. Thats why they chose her to be Pari. The actor has to suit the role, not just look pretty!

And shes a good actress too! Last night in her scene with Purvi, when she turns away after saying: "Yes, go and see that man living happily with his wife, with his daughter" I could see the deep hurt on her face and hear the quaver in her voice. Pari seems like a tough and aggressive girl but every tough girl or guy has a soft hurting heart inside and that was portrayed well in that scene.

The actor playing Pari may not be conventionally pretty but she has very strong features and a certain appeal of her own. Besides, she is a very competent actor as seen in BALH. I quite liked her scene with Hiten too today! She suits the part!

I agree it is unkind to write abt some actors and actresses for their looks or the part they play.
I have seen enough hate for Shravni, Ovi, etc.

For those readers who say my post is "unkind" or "shallow". May I remind all of you that we are NOT talking about real life here. This is a SOAP OPERA. Soap Operas ARE shallow. If they were not shallow, then all the leads would be ugly yet good actors. 99% of all lead actors in Soap Operas are beautiful. They pick less beautiful supporting characters to make the lead characters stand out. It's as simple as that.
Everyone knows that when you watch a Hindi movie or a Soap Opera, some of its appeal lies in its beautiful actors and everyone likes looking at beautiful people.
To those who claim my post is "unkind" towards Pari. As soon as a person decides to become a PUBLIC figure, such as an actor or an actress, they automatically sign up to be publicly cirticized for their acting/looks/and even personal life. That's part of the package of becoming a public person.

What the character does is about how the writers write the role being played - the reel life character.

How the person looks is about the actor..the real life person.. It isn't Pari who has become a public figure it is the actress playing her.

Your comments about this are against forum rules as it is rude and unkind, period.

Please discuss this with the mods. I have said all i want to say.

I like the girl who is playing Pari . She is pretty and has a nice personality .Even acting wise she is not doing a bad job at all..
She has a good dialogue delivery as well.
I thought both her and Mansi did a fairly decent job in the show today ..
