So... maybe they did think they found a pretty Pari, I certainly do :-).

As for her acting... time will tell about that part, she hasnt done any extraordinary scene as yet to determine her acting abilities.

Actually, since the leap - none of the scenes have been out of the ordinary... so... we havent seen acting prowess unveiled as yet.

To me Pari here and Riddima in BALH both are quite pretty and beautiful. However, the problem is with clothes. They can do better. Just an e.g., Teju can look so much more beautiful if only she dresses up properly and leaves that tomboyish attires and attitude. However, they never really cared to develop her character much in PR and she remained a lamp post as a result. The real important characters as I see appear to be Ankita/Archana, Purvi and they are by far the best in acting as well in my opinion (again).. Arjun is ok but definitely can improve. Naren, I hated him in BALH. and I hope he picks up here. My choice would have been definitely Karan Wahi for this role. Let us watch and see what happens next.

Of course they will show ArVi but how much of Pari will they show? Even now, mostly we see monologues of Arjun/Purvi...only a few scenes of Pari. Compare that to the scenes of Ankita, even Prashant, and they have more screen space. The story clearly revolves around Ankita after this leap and Arvi will technically be like how ArMan were in the past leap - trying to get back etc.

Looks aren't everything. What I can see so far, Pari can act and that's all that matters.

Plus try looking at them off screen and they look totally different from their online counterparts.
Some of them look 'not so good' onscreen due to high levels of makeup.

Off screen some of them are natural and look beautiful.

Plus you don't have to be beautiful to be successful. As long as you blow them away with your amazing acting skills, make the character believable then isn't that all that matters?

Trust me there are actors out there who are butt ugly but they can act breathtakingly.

I'd rather watch an ugly person act great than watch a beautiful person act shit.

IMO she is pretty and a good actress as well.

I saw last night episode where Pari got some screen time and I see no problems with her acting or pretty ness or whatever. She is perfectly alright as Pari. I get the feeling that she is becoming like Ovi. Probably Pia in future might be like Teju. Lookslike Ovi is in India with her daughter as per the references made during the epi. Soon we shall see pia.

I don't think Pari looks beautiful, maybe she is average looking. Also they had to get someone not so good looking, because then lead actress Ankita would look much prettier comparatively.

No sweetie... if you read what I said, you would see that I think all women are pretty depending on WHO is looking at them - that is the beholder. Beauty is mostly subjective, not objective. I might find someone gorgeous when you may not.

I might also find someone ugly that u will find beautiful.

As such, the casting department of PR may have thought that THEIR choice for Pari is indeed beautiful. Beauty may not be run of the mill beauty. But something about the charisma, ambitiousness, charm, features, structure, can all add up to make that person beautiful.

Like you said , YOU don't think Pari is beautiful, but that doesnt mean I have to agree with you or anyone else. The TM asked the question, "couldn't they find a prettier Pari" ... I simply responded that maybe THEY thought they did.

Thats another reason Comparison posts are not allowed on the forum... cause not everyone will agree when comparing 2 persons cause we all see things and people differently.

This actress has very little skills from what we can see so far. She's in the normal screaming, screeching mode. Nothing to look at, nothing to listen to. Totally forgettable actress.
