Dilli Fukrey the first team to reach semi-final in BCL!
"Fuk fuk fukrey fukrey" is the song that many television actors are singing these days. Confused? Well Anmol's BCL organised by Marinating films is currently the talk of the town and social media sites. Fans are just loving to watch their favourite actors playing cricket. Now coming back to the Battu and is under the captaincy of Suyyash Rai, has cruised into the semi finals of BCL after their back two back victory against Ghaent Punjabi and Soorma Bhopali, and they are the first team to reach the semis. The cricket field was filled by Fukrey movie title track and one can witness Dilli Fukrey team mates dancing and celebrating their victory. So TheTellyTimes got in touch with the owner and some of the players and lets see what they had to say about their win.
Dhiraj Battu (owner): I would just say that it was a great team effort that made it possible for us. If things continues to go this way, which I am sure will under the captaincy of Suyyash, we are surely going to win BCL.
Suyyash Rai: (captain): It obviously feels very good. When we started playing and also on papers we were said to be the strongest team, but when we played practice match with Jaipur Joshiley it really went bad for us and was a reality check and eye opener for us. After that we practiced really hard and were very dedicated, so yeah we were confident when we played first match and won too against Ghaent Punjabi and that also with a good margin, the Soorma Bhopali match was very close. So obviously 2 wins straight, and we making it to semis feels good. It feels great and and just waiting for the semis now.
Kishwer Merchant: When I started practicing, I thought I will bowl the over that is for girls from our team because for a long time, I was the only girl who went for practice. But jitna acha bowler Suyyash hai utni hi bad I am, and then because of Vivian's sudden entry in Madhubala I couldn't make it for the matches on time so couldn't play. But I am their red bull like Priyanka one of our team mate says, and live wire like Shaleen calls me and I think I love that role. I keep my boys charged up, keep the spirits high and my team loves me for that, they misses me when I don't reach on time, which I think is so sweet. I had never thought that I would get addicted to cricket like this. Although I am a huge fan of IPL, but this madh studio where we play matches now feels like home and the bestest part about this is, that I am a part of Suyyash's dream, so it feels super.And yes really proud of my team, my family as we are the 1st to qualify for the semis..ab toh trophy jeetni hi hai. DilliFukrey zindabad!
Rithvik Dhanjani: It's a superb feeling since we have played two matches and won both, so currently I am hoping that this form continues and we take the league home. I am extremely sad that I won't be there for any further matches because of my prior commitments, but I know Dilli will rock and take this title home undoubtedly.
Giaa Manek: I feel extremely proud of my team. I am really happy that I am a part of Dilli Fukrey, it's not a team for me but it's a family and we certainly won't get overconfident. We will continue to play with the same dedication and sincerity.
Madhura Naik: Oh my god! I just love Dilli fukrey and our victory only makes me more ecstatic! Somehow my gut feel was that we are going to win both the matches. I just knew it! We have the most amazing sportsmen in our team, and not only that they are amazing people too with amazing sportsman spirit. We are by far the strongest team in every sense. Way to go fukreys!
Sehban Azim: Well it's a wonderful feeling to see your own team win again for the second time. All the hard work and practice have been paid for. The best part about us is our team unity, we all have become like a family that helps a lot to win and survive any kind of pressure. And me being actually from Delhi gives me more happiness, Though I am equally supporting Mumbai too.
