what has archana or manav exactly done to reform soham? she brought him home. fine. after that what?? all she did was talk about good values and stuff. she never tried to put her words into action. action speaks louder than words. she could have first focused on getting him educated. but no she has to unload her expectations of what he should be like instead on focusing on his progress. manav is worse. all he did was yell at him or slap him. soham has made mistakes and he is not going to become a sanskaari person overnight. its a gradual process. when soham couldnt handle rejection, what did archu or manav do? manav esp has behave like an outsider who judges someone just coz they have been a goon all their life and not educated. they consider them lowly. has manav ever supported soham in anyway? has he ever said a word abt educating soham or helping him learn some constructive work so that he can do something other than picking up stuff at shops and all that.

I think Gauri is a gold digger. From the start she has been buttering up Archana and Manav like anything, spouting Archana Ji, Manav Ji all the time! She looked after Archana as if she was the only patient at the hospital, even came to Deshmukh home to give her injections and medicines!
I have never seen that kind of personal service from any doctor, even junior doctor, not even in India!

She had her eyes set on becoming a bahu of Deshmukhs. At first she set her sights on Soham, I remember the way she would hide behind a pillar and observe him working at the store and smile from afar. She seemed very fond of him. I remember how she hugged Soham tightly when he rescued her from Balan's den! The way she looked affectionately at Soham when he did some good deeds. The way she dragged him from the Patna train with so much apnapan and took him to her home to stay with her family! Certainly didnt seem like she only thought of him as a gunda then. But when ArMaan brought Sachin's rishta she jumped at it because all along she wanted to marry into Deshmukh family and with Sachin, she would get a lawyer husband which is much better than marrying an ex-criminal turned grocery clerk. Definitely a gold digger! 😆

LOL...i'm not sure i would go so far as to categorize her as a gold digger...I think she sees the Demhmukhs as prestigious in a societal and professional way...but i do agree that her interest in Soham seemed to be for Archana and Manav and not really for him personally. I never thought she was at all romantically interested but trying her best to see him reformed only to get in the good graces of Archu & Manav - as the one who did it. . e.g. when they came back from the flooding and all the troubles, she did a huge disservice to Soham, in a most selfish way.

The truth is that Soham showed remarkable compassion and caring for the wounded people and worked so hard. Much credit should have gone to him for the rescue. Instead when Manav congratulated her on doing so much good she took all the credit (coyly) instead of mentioning how much Soham did. She acted like she saved Soham, when in fact, he was the one who saved her. She had a perfect opportunity to correct Manav's understanding of the events, and she didn't do it. To me it just showed she really didn't care about Soham except as a tool to get in their good graces. I don't think it was money though, but societal position more.

Unfortunately Soham misread her intentions in every thing she did.

I also just find her rather cold emotionally, and as a character she doesn't interest me at all. Definitely never saw her as a good match for Soham...but I have no interest in watching the Sachin/Gauri "romance" either...😒

The CV's kind of messed up with this whole sequence i think and don't even know themselves what they are doing. Other than making a gigantic mess.

Well, gold digger can mean the prestige of being a Deshmukh bahu as well as monetary gains. Sachin is a lawyer and earns a lot so she accepted his alliance right away!
But yes, you're absolutely right abt the village incidents!
Gauri took all the credit of saving Soham and those villagers herself! She didnt tell Manav abt Soham's good work with the villagers and the way he saved her from the gundas in the forest.
I have never liked Gauri, she did seem rather cold and stiff, self-righteous, too flattering and adulatory towards ArMaan. I never wanted her paired with Soham.
But the way she behaved with Soham all along, helping him, caring for him, hugging him during her rescue, I would not wonder at Soham reading her signals wrong! Given his background and mentality, he presumed she cared for him deeply so she wanted him to reform. How would he know Gauri was doing all that only to please Archana and Manav?
In a way, Soham saw her as his savior so he fell in love with her and now that love has become his obsession and madness at her rejection.

PS: Sachin Gauri is just Blah...Id rather see Teju-Sunny romance or Sundari romancing the driver! 😆

You are right Pallavi...it can be prestige as well as money.

Sundari's romance...now that's something the CV's have really missed! That would be refreshing and cute to watch.

I would like to see Ovi find a new love...but if there really is a leap, and she's not there afterwards i suppose that makes no sense.

So many possible stories, but instead they keep doing the same old - same old, over and over ...they just wring it dry.

@pallavi and @naava👍🏼
I think that gauri seemed that she cared for soham..she really did seem to care at times even tho she took all the credit for the mountain disaster thing...but I think she never had the intention of marrying someone beneath her station..he is not going to school, is a grocery delivery boy...I would not call gold digger but definitely abt the prestige. I also think she is colder than she appears.

It goes to show that sheoing some caring feelings or even a friendly hug does not equate to loving someone. They could be just what they appear to be..friendly.

This cv team needs to get better than just creating love triangles...I too would like to see sundari get a beau!!!!

the concern that she had for soham was because she was treating archana and she wanted archana to recover fast...

@Dabulls23, In the whole show Archana never accepted her mistake, even in today's show her true mistake was spoiling Soham more, Soham had good heart being Bishnu, now as Soham he doesn't even have good heart...bringing Soham to reform him was not Archu's mistake, but she never did it dil-se, Archu should have made Soham to attend school, Archu should have cancelled gauri's wedding with sachin as it can make so many hurdles for the family...today Archu proved she doesn't care for Manav, she intentionally created today's scene by shouting "kya chal raha hein thumhare dhimaak me soham", Archana did not care about Manav's health and head-bleeding Sachin...This show has ek se bad kar ek villains Archana and Purvi

Lol I doubt she is preggo 😆just cause a girl in an indian drama faints doenst mean she has to be preggo...the indian drama industry has made this into such a bad steroytype but anywayzzz...she probably fainted cause she cant tolerate blood and that whole incident escalated quickly which probably came to her as shock
